the people on earth.

It’s large centre with many decorations, sweets, pastries and other good things looks amazing. There are
a lot of stands and this is one of the most famous
Christmas events in Europe.

Me and my family during Christmas, as every polish family,
decorate Christmas tree. We hang lights and baubles - big,
small, shinning and many others. Before the Christmas Eve
in our bath swims a carp, which later is fried on a frying
pan. There should be 12 traditional dishes on the Christmas table. We don’t prepare all of them, but we have
borscht, carp, “moczka”, dumplings with cabbage and
mushrooms. When we eat everything, my dad reads a few
verses from the Bible. After that we wish each other all
the best. And in the end… presents!
In my opinion Christmas with my family are the best.
Szymon Korus
Christmas is an amazing time for a lot of people.
These days are special for me, my family and my
friends.
My family celebrates christmas days together at the
well-docourated table. During Christmas Eve we eat
tradicional meals, sing christmas carols and give presents to one another.
The day before christmas we decorate the christmas tree and we like when our christmas tree looks
pretty. At night a lot of people go to the church.
People often think about the benefits, that is presents, and they don't think about what is really important. I think the most important is the time that
we can spend with our family because this is the
best present we can give and get. People should forget about bad situations and forgive harms. In these
days people should think about what they can do to
make life better...

In each country people celebrate New Year differently
e.g :
In Kiribati New
Year is celebrated as
the first
one,because it
starts at 11 am of
the polish time.
In the USA the New
Year is associated with
Times Scquare. Every
year it is located in
Manhattan. More than a
million people watch
the fireworks in New
York and the rest of the
country on TV.
In Russia the
New Year's Eve
is spent with
family. Most
Russians celebrate it with
friends or family
at the
Christmas Tree
with sumptuous
meal. They wish
each other all
the best and
give gifts.
In China it lasts for 15 days.
Every day has its symbolism.
On the 1st day they worship
their gods. The 5th day, called
Poo Woo, is for family. On
the 7th day every Chinese
celebrates birthday and on
the 15th day - a festival of
Chinese lenterns. All ends
with the Chinese New Year.
We presented you only a few countries that celebrate New
Year in an intresting way. We hope that you enjoyed our
presentation.
Happy New Year !

Me and my family always spend Chrystmas Eve at
home.
We always prepare twelve dish:
1. Konopiotka
2. Moczka
3. Cabbage with mushrooms
4. Baked carp
5. Pumpkin compote
6. Makówka
7. Cake with poppy

8. Herring
9. Potato
10. Auszpik
11. Carp in aspic

We always put some hay under tablecloth. Before meals,
when the first star appears on the sky, the host says a
prayer. Then we divide the wafer. Only then we sit down
to the table and consume meals.
After the meal we give each other presents. This is how I
celebrate Christmas Eve at my home. And how do you
celebrate it?

As every two years, EA DICE presents us new part of
Battlefield. Maybe it’s not a revolution in FPS (First Person
Shooter) games, but for sure it’s a next step to better
games.
Before the premiere of Battlefield 4 we got a lot of controversies about changes in the game. Some people asked:
“Is it for sure BF 4? Maybe it’s a BF 3.5 or maybe it’s only
a big DLC to BF 3. “ What I want to say is: it’s a new
game, but it’s not a NEW SERIES, it’s a new part. Why do
we need to change something, that is good? It’s not a
revolution, but evolution, or how they say in
DICE: LEVOLUTION.
Battlefield 4 changes a bit the mechanic of shooting, it
comes with better graphic (FROSTBITE 3), new guns,
new maps and LEVOLUTION.
LEVOLUTION is a new system of changes on the
map. Now you can turn off the lights, switch on car
alarm, destroy some walls, small buildings or skyscraper or a big dam. It changes the weather on the
map, too. What do you think about a sudden storm
or a flood? Or maybe a sandstorm? Now it’s possible with Frostbite 3!
But there is no rose without spikes. Battlefield 4
looks awesome, its gameplay is great, multiplayer has
new game modes and it’s for 64 players, we’ve got
the commander mode, but net-code of game is one
big CRASH. Maps load too long, game often stops
working, network smoothing makes “one hit kill error”. You can have the most
expensive computer in the
world, you can have the
fastest internet and you’ll
still have these problems.
DICE repairs game, but
that takes time.
If you’re a Battlefield fan,
you can buy BF 4 and you
will have fun, if you won’t rage about errors. But if
you’re not maniac of these series, wait a few
months. Game will be cheaper, there won’t be errors and you’ll have fun without any stress.

In our school the chrismas eve is celebrated on friday 20 th
and it is the last day of school this year! First we watch
the nativity play prepared by our collegues in a church.
Later everyone goes to the classrooms. There we celebrate the Chrismas Eve, we share the wafer and make
wishes. Later we eat sweets and drink juices. I like it a
lot!

Christmas tree is a symbol of life. The Tradi tion
of dressing up the Christmas tree was born in
Alsace around 16th century. The Christmas trees
were decorated with paper and apples. The Germans brought this beautiful tradition to Poland
in the 18th century. Catholics love this custom
and decorate their trees one day before or on the
day of the Christmas Eve and put presents
around it.
The Christmas tree became the main symbol of
Christmas.
