Come with us and join the circus! Our new high-energy Circus Camp
takes campers into the depths of the wondrous, magical world of the
Circus! Includes acrobatics, plate spinning, baton tricks, stick tricks,
stilts, magic tricks, juggling, special face painting, balloon workshops,
slack lining, and clowning with equipment specially designed with
youth and safety in mind. Circus Camp is a perfect way for kids to
unleash their inner creativity and passion in a fun and safe
environment. Camp games and activities included. Program will be
modified for different age groups. *Special performance at the Camp
Show on Friday!
ARCHERY, OUTDOOR BALL HOCKEY, GOLF, FRISBEE, SOCCER, DODGE BALL,
MINI STICKS, BADMINTON, SQUASH, PING PONG, STRENGTH AND FITNESS
TRAINING, FLAG FOOTBALL, BASKETBALL, SLACKLINE, BOWLING AND
MUCH MORE! *All activities subject to change and modification. One
camp with ALL of the best indoor/outdoor sports and games! Campers
will participate in a variety of fun team and independent sports by
moving through different Sport Circuit Stations!
Campers will receive in-depth instruction with a
focus on conditioning, childhood development for
strength and gross motor skills, team building, and
physical literacy! This camp is geared towards all
levels and abilities while still encouraging fitness and participation!
ELGIN PARK PanAm Games EVERY FRIDAY! *Friday Pizza Party at Elgin
Park, and 1:00pm Camp Show! *Swimming every day!
The best of the best! All of your summer favorites rolled into one fun
filled week! Campers will participate in drama, sports, crafts, games,
fort building, theme days, canoeing, campfires, archery, and
swimming. Finale camp will be divided into Junior and Senior age
group. Note: Canoeing and archery are only for Sr. Camp Finale
participants. Please register early to avoid disappointment!
Never the same camp twice! In a creative environment, learn the
fundamentals of watercolours, explore the exciting art of painting and
drawing using creative expression, experiment with clay and prepare to
get messy! At this camp we love to explore new crafts and follow our
imagination. Artists will also participate in outdoor games, and
scavenger hunts! Come home with an assortment of masterpieces!
Thursday at 1:00pm, parents are invited to the Uxbridge Museum to
walk through the Jr. Art Kid’s Camp Art Show! Friday: Pizza Party and
Camp Show at Elgin Park followed by a cool and refreshing swim at the
Uxpool!
This camp is the ultimate in Outdoor Fun! Campers will get a chance to
explore our parks, creeks and trails. Campers will learn the
fundamentals of canoeing while developing and performing their skills
in a safe and structured environment. Learn how to Geo-cache; the
newest way to go on a high tech treasure hunt with township-owned
GPS units. Campers will also enjoy outdoor adventure games, campfire
building, hiking, archery and fort building. Register early to avoid
disappointment! Camp games and activities included! *Swimming
every day!
Jr. Adventure Camp!
Calling all first time campers! Children can enjoy both indoor and
outdoor activities, play games, dance & sing goofy songs, enjoy theme
days and complete special crafts to bring home! Your little camper will
participate in an outdoor camping adventure and picnic! This half-day
camp promotes the development of physical literacy and friendship in a
nurturing environment. Includes mini trampoline, slide, and tiny
balance beam! Each week is different! Child must be toilet trained.
Scooter & Skateboard Camp!
Spend a day in the beautiful summer sun brushing up and mastering
your scooter/skate skills! Staff and campers will work together in a
team driven environment to learn drop-ins and tricks. Each week,
campers will design their very own logo and put it on a t-shirt! We will
have a few skateboards on hand for campers to try out at any time to
develop new physical literacy skills. Let’s keep the sport alive! You MUST
have your own skateboard/Scooter, skateboard helmet, elbow and knee
pads and proper footwear. Camp games are included and there will be
a Ramp Jam session for parents to come and watch at 1:00pm Friday! **
Rain day drop off will be at the Uxbridge Arena Pad #1.
Dance & Cheer Camp!
Have a blast cheering and dancing your heart out at this non-technical,
HIGH ENERGY cheerleading and dance camp for BOYS AND GIRLS! Get
creative with moves and cheers, and the basic moves of Power
Cheerleading! Campers will create a performance with a variety of
moves inspired by the campers. Campers will enjoy indoor and outdoor
activities including the FAMOUS “Spa Day”, a gender friendly fashion
show, improvising group routines, and discussions on motivation,
leadership, self-confidence and the importance of being active! A final
performance at the end of each week takes place for friends and family
to enjoy! No previous dance or cheerleading experience required! Come
and watch campers perform at Elgin Park Band Shell every Friday at
1:00pm! *Swimming every day. A special dance T-shirt is included for
Friday’s show.
Jr. and Sr. Life Guard Camps!
These two camps are geared towards youth and teens interested in
becoming Certified Life Guards. Jr. Life Guard campers will learn a
variety of water rescues, lifesaving techniques and stroke efficiency
from our Life Saving Society Rookie, Ranger, and Star Patrol Programs in
a fun-filled atmosphere. Sr. Life Guard campers will work towards their
Standard First Aid and Bronze Medallion or Bronze Cross certifications.
Note: Week #6 Tuesday- Saturday (applicable to Sr. Life Guard Camp
only)
Leadership In Training Camp!
This one week program is designed to teach the participants leadership
skills, with an emphasis on those required to be a Camp Counsellor.
Topics covered include Basic First Aid and CPR, volunteer
responsibilities, proper communication, program planning,
exceptionalities workshop, resumé writing, discipline, and most
importantly the power to influence as an effective leader! Successful
completion of this course allows participants a volunteer field
placement for TWO weeks! Limited space in Leadership programs. We
highly recommend registering early to avoid disappointment!
Jr. Whiz
Discover the scientist in you by experiencing the weird, crazy and cool
aspects of fun science experiments just for kids! Campers will do
everything from building bridges and towers out of random objects,
exploding volcanoes, to making their very own colourful lava lamp,
goop & slime! See how airplanes work by building your own
experiment! Campers will participate in indoor and outdoor activities
encouraging daily fitness! On Friday Jr. Whiz Kids will have the option to
enjoy a Pizza Party, followed by a 1:00pm performance for family and
friends at the Band Shell! *All experiments subject to change. Every
week is different!

Swim Camp!
Burn all of your exciting energy at this action packed swimming camp!
Campers will enjoy plenty of fun pool swimming, playing games and
learning dives! Campers will play indoor and outdoor games! Play
underwater hockey and learn basic water safety skills! This camp
includes 3-4 hours of pool time per day. If you love the water, then this
is the camp for you! (Campers MUST be a Red Cross Swim Kids 5 or
higher) Pizza Party at Elgin Park on Friday! *Special trip to the Splash
Pad!
Summer has finally arrived and you need some adventure! Our Junior
Adventure Camp is filled with treasure hunts, exploring, water
activities, creek walks and crafts! In addition, outdoor sports and games
will keep your camper busy and socially fulfilled. Each week is different!
Each Friday campers will participate on stage in our camp show at the
Elgin Park for friends and family! Avoid disappointment and register
early! *Swimming Thursday!
Counsellor In Training!
This TWO WEEK certification program is designed for youth who want to
gain knowledge and experience working with children in a fun and
recreational setting! Learn leadership skills, lesson planning for specific
ages and abilities, physical & health literacy, skill mastery and
progressions, as well as the caretaking needs of children; all with a
focus on leadership development. Participants who successfully
complete this program will be certified in Standard First Aid and CPR ‘C’,
and will be eligible for volunteer placements in our camps, and eligible
to apply for our off-season after school Rec programs. *Volunteer a
minimum of 2 weeks- we are happy if you stay for more! :) Limited space
in Leadership programs. We highly recommend registering early to
avoid disappointment!

Move 2 Groove!
Have a blast dancing your heart out at this non-technical, high-energy
dance camp for Junior BOYS AND GIRLS! Campers will enjoy indoor and
outdoor activities mixed in with a variety of dance games and
improvising group routines. Campers will learn simple dance moves in a
FUN and high energy environment. Every Friday there will be a
performance at Elgin Park Band Shell for parents to watch! No previous
dance experience required! *Swimming daily and a T-shirt included for
Friday’s show.

Tour Camp!
What a great way to celebrate summer fun! These outgoing campers
will participate in a wide variety of touring activities such as Rock
Climbing, Laser Quest, Glow in the Dark Mini Putting, Metro Toronto
Zoo, Cedar Glen Water Park, Blue Jays Baseball Game (Wk #4) or Science
Centre! Touring Camps are limited to 40 participants, so sign up early to
avoid disappointment. *All activities are subject to change. Tour
itineraries will be emailed 1 week before the scheduled camp week
begins.
Bracelet Buddies!
What better way to develop your untapped bracelet and jewelry
making skills than to join a camp with all the tools that stimulate your
creative expressions! Use gimp, hemp, beads, string and more to create
bracelets of any size, color, and material you want! Campers will learn
different patterns, methods, and skills to create customized friendship
bracelets that are personalized and fun with other jewelry making
included! Every evening during camp pick up, participants will sell their
designer items and proceeds will be donated to a local charity of choice
selected by campers! *Camp games and activities included! *Swimming
every day!
Dynamic Drama Camp!
Created for Uxbridge summer campers who love being in the spotlight.
Drama Camp explores the world of theatre production in a supportive,
hands-on environment. While working together, staff & campers will
wander into the aspects of performance and theatre production, while
rehearsing and preparing for the Friday show, which will be presented
to family and friends on stage at the end of each week! No agents or
casting calls necessary, just lots of fun! NEW! We are excited to introduce
a sign language aspect into our Drama Camp! *Swimming every day!

Participants in the Uxbridge Museum’s fun and exciting 1-day camps,
travelling into the past with our history-themed days! Our camps are
always on Friday.
•Pioneer’s Day: July 3 and 31. Our pioneers will learn how to make their
own butter and yummy treats, plant seeds and take home to grow, play
fun games, make awesome crafts and more!
•Explorer’s Day: July 17 & August 14. Campers will become explorers
with lots of fun and activities such as going on scavenger hunts,
learning mapping skills, and exploring the Museum for hidden
treasures! Camp games and crafts included.
