The hotel buildings represent history dating back to the end of the 19th century, when they were commissioned in 1874 by
German-Baltic Baron Theophil Ferdinand Otto von Stackelberg and completed the following year. Baron von Stackelberg and
his family used the house as their city estate for six years until it was sold in 1881
The buildings recently went through a complete renovation, which was performed with the utmost care to retain and restore
the buildings’ historical authenticity
The original lime and brick stone walls, the wooden beams, the large bright windows and the staircases have all been preserved
and exposed to give the hotel a unique historical atmosphere, which forms a seamless blend together with a daring design and
