Turbonetics, Inc., has recently expanded with the development of our new
Industrial Products Division. Our new product line includes the highest quality
line of industrial products with a focus to provide the following:
• Industrial Regulator Products- as O. E. suppliers to Caterpillar and
Waukesha, we will provide updated information in support of the IAM’s
service to the industrial marketplace. (Industrial Regulators were
purchased from Honeywell International’s Garrett Engine Boosting
Systems in 1999.)
• Rajay Turbocharger and Wastegate Products- we are revitalizing this
line and cataloging all necessary supporting inventory. (Rajay was
purchased from Honeywell International’s Garrett Engine Boosting
Systems by Kelly Aerospace, which acquired both the aircraft and
industrial product lines in 1996.)
• Release existing and develop new reverse engineered turbochargers,
CHRA’s, repair kits and component parts for commercial and industrial
applications as applied to on-highway, construction, agriculture, marine,
power generation equipment, etc.
• Develop additional industrial products via the synergy of Kelly
Aerospace and Turbonetics, Inc. core competencies.

VSR Testing
TURBONETICS capabilities include the first VSR turbocharger console ever available
to the USA performance aftermarket. Developed in Europe for vibration sorting of
production turbochargers, the VSR provides a final quality check of complete cartridge
assemblies at actual operating speeds. This unit measures rotational speed, aerodynamic balance, and lubrication flow parameters providing assurance that the turbo
you get from TURBONETICS is the finest available!
Competition Balance
Standard on all TURBONETICS Performance Turbochargers, this feature includes
dynamic balance of both compressor and turbine wheel/shaft assemblies to less than
one-half of published factory tolerances! Balanced components are then assembled as
a rotating group and balanced again to a “quivering needle” on the most advanced
balancing equipment available to the aftermarket - the end result is a group balance
four times better than allowable factory specifications.

A must for all competition turbochargers, turbo blueprinting is standard on all TURBONETICS Performance Turbochargers. Performed by expert technicians in a “clean
room” environment, it includes complete installation of bronze shaft bearings and
heavy duty thrust bearing, Competition Balance, VSR testing, compressor decking and
clearance check of both compressor and turbine wheels.

TURBONETICS Ceramic Ball-Bearing turbochargers are winning races and setting new records all over the
world. Rapid “spool up”, excellent transient response and unequalled durability combine to make the Ceramic
Ball-Bearing turbo the ULTIMATE turbocharger for successful street or strip applications.
The NASA inspired angular contact Ceramic Ball-Bearing design practically
eliminates thrust bearing and operational surge failures. The Ceramic BallBearing system can safely handle 50 TIMES more thrust loading than
conventional turbochargers, making it ideal for severe transients
and extreme pressure ratio applications.
All TURBONETICS Ceramic Ball-Bearing turbochargers are manufactured to the strictest aerospace standards
by the most experienced technicians in the trade. Quality
control is maintained throughout the precision assembly
process to insure adherence to the closest tolerances in the
industry. All Ceramic Ball-Bearing turbochargers are VSR

T3 PERFORMANCE TURBOCHARGERS
The performance T3 Series Turbocharger is ideal for small displacement engines with horsepower returns ranging
from 150HP to 325HP. The T3 is available in any combination of compressor trim (including the exclusive TURBONETICS’ Super 60) and turbine section in Stage I, Stage II or Stage III turbine wheel trim. The T3 Series gives
you the choice of wet or dry bearing housing and dynamic or carbon seal. “Blueprinted” assembly is standard. The
basic unit does not include a wastegate - please see Installation
Accessories, listed below. For specific application recommendations, contact a TURBONETICS Turbo Specialist.

The T3/T4 Hybrid turbochargers consist of a T3 turbine section, (Standard, Stage II or Stage III trim and the new
exclusive Stage V) and a T4 compressor section (T04B trim or T04E trim). This combination offers the low inertia
and fast boost response of the lightweight T3 turbine wheel and the high-airflow characteristics of the T4
compressor family.
All T3/T4 Hybrid Turbochargers are available with the patented Ceramic Ball-Bearing option highlighted on page 6. The
Ceramic Ball-Bearing T3/T4 Hybrid series offers the fastest spool-up available. Coupled with extreme durability, the
Ceramic Ball-Bearing concept provides unparalleled performance never before experienced by the import turbocharging
aftermarket.
All T3/T4 Hybrid’s are custom matched for specific applications. Airflow ratings from 250 HP to 500 HP are available. Contact

SUPER SERIES COMPRESSOR WHEELS
The TURBONETICS Super Series of T04B compressor wheels are a full .250" in diameter larger (3") than their standard factory
counterparts (2.75"). This results in faster boost response at lower engine and turbo speeds. Available in the S, V, and H-3 trims,
the Super Series compressor wheels will fit standard compressor housings but require a matching backplate.

The T04B and T04E series are the most versatile turbochargers available to the performance aftermarket. High compressor efficiency, strict quality standards, TURBONETICS’ exclusive “blueprinted” assembly process and competitive

For the serious competitor only, TURBONETICS offers custom matched and custom built turbochargers
designed to get you across the finish line first! Designated the T-Series, this turbo family incorporates the
latest “state of the art” turbocharger aerodynamics and the toughest durability available to the maximum performance engine builder.
With a wide range of flow capacities (T-58 (TS04), T61, T64, T66, T70, T72 and T76) capable of supporting
650 to 950 HP with a single turbo, the T-Series is the only true custom turbo family designed exclusively for
racing applications!
All T-Series turbos are custom built to your specific application and include the TURBONETICS “Tuff-Turbo”
option. Dynamic seal is standard, but new carbon seal configurations are now available (see below). Your choice of
O or P trim turbine: .58, .69, .70, .81 or .96 AR “on-center” and a full range of tangential style turbine housings are
optional (see page 16). Q trim and the patented TURBONETICS’ Ceramic Ball-Bearing option are also available.

Carbon Seals Available
All Standard and “Big Shaft” Ceramic Ball-Bearing turbochargers are now available with Carbon
Seals! Expressly intended for draw-through (i.e.: carbureted) applications, TURBONETICS now
has the capability of producing carbon-sealed versions of all of our Ceramic Ball-Bearing turbochargers except the “Thumper Series”. Turbo selection is no longer limited to early T04B and
Rajay configurations. Now you can step up to the turbo that’s right for your application without

This exclusive TURBONETICS cast and machined housing features
a 4" ASME nozzle inlet on all trim configurations that minimizes
compressor inlet losses. The compressor discharge (2-1/2" OD) has
been redesigned to eliminate the awkward offset of the original
Garrett housing and the bolt pattern accepts standard T04B clamps
and fasteners. The “T-Series” housing accepts the TURBONETICS
billet-machined and anodized backplate. Add PN 10680 for polished
compressor housing option.

The Stage III Cheetah
Developed specifically for strong street and strip performance, the Stage
III Cheetah utilizes an advanced turbine wheel design originally developed
for Navistar. Combined with the Super H compressor section, this unit
delivers quick boost response with efficient turbine performance.
The Stage IV Cheetah
For the serious street and strip performer, TURBONETICS offers a totally
custom turbo that still bolts on and can be assembled with any combination of turbine and compressor wheels in our performance lineup.
The Stage V Cheetah
For the ultimate in bolt-on performance, the Stage V Cheetah combines
the proven 60-1 compressor section with the new high flow, high efficiency

Y2K 2002 SERIES COMPETITION TURBO
The Y2K turbocharger was specifically created to answer the need for a turbo to be used in pairs
capable of supporting 2000HP applications. TURBONETICS is continuously evolving its product line to
ensure maximum performance. With the introduction of the Y2K 2002 series turbo, we have utilized a
newly redesigned compressor wheel, featuring the latest in aerodynamic design to increase airflow
efficiency. To match the performance of the compressor wheel, we have equally improved the turbine
wheel design to reduce the flow of backpressure. Y2K 2002 series turbo also features a durable heavyduty commercial bearing configuration in a lightweight frame making the Y2K 2002 series turbo a
dedicated turbocharger designed to efficiently provide the airflow requirements for an honest 1000HP
plus per turbocharger.

RAJAY SERIES
RAJAY has long been recognized as a standard-setter in the commercial and retrofit
turbocharger market. From agricultural to marine to motorcycles, RAJAY means versatility.
RAJAY successfully combines a lightweight, compact design with rugged construction for
reliable service under the most rigorous operating conditions. Significant among the design features of the RAJAY series turbochargers is its patented, one-piece semi-floating aluminum bearing
design. Oil pressure virtually suspends the bearing on a film of oil while permitting oil to pass
through the radial holes to the turbine shaft. This bearing design has proved so durable that
other turbocharger manufacturers have used it, under license, for heavy-duty truck applications
where a 5000 hour service life is quite common.
RAJAY
Another characteristically unique RAJAY feature is its carbon-faced oil seal providing excellent sealing
ability and thereby prolonging the life of the turbocharger. All these advances
in design have not eclipsed the real beauty of the unit, its overall emphasis
on simplicity and ease of service.
As of January 1, 2001 TURBONETICS acquired the RAJAY commercial
industrial product line from its parent company Consolidated Fuel
Systems, Inc. Consolidated still retains all original equipment aircraft
products.TURBONETICS will move the production and product support to
their Simi Valley, CA facility. TURBONETICS will immediately begin the reengineering and upgrade process in an effort to again position RAJAY as
a leader in performance turbocharging.
“TUFF–TURBO” OPTION
Durability can be enhanced greatly by ordering the “Tuff-Turbo” option for your new turbocharger. The “Tuff-Turbo” option is available for all T4
series, 60-1, and 62-1 turbochargers. This TURBONETICS exclusive option utilizes O, P, or Q trim turbine wheel shafts, and the “stagger gap”
piston ring. Specially developed for competition applications, the “Tuff-Turbo” option includes the “big shaft” with a larger bearing structure, larger
thrust bearing and a left-handed nut. The “big shaft” virtually eliminates the destructive shaft motion normally associated with high boost. The
“Tuff-Turbo” option is available with dynamic seal or the new optional carbon seal (see page 11).
The “Q” Trim Turbine Wheel Shaft Assembly
Recognizing the need for a higher flow capacity turbine to match the capabilities of the “T” Series compressor wheels,
TURBONETICS has developed the “Q” trim. Incorporating all of the features of the “Tuff-Turbo” option, the “Q” trim
represents the largest diameter turbine wheel that can be mated to a properly machined T04B turbine housing. The
result is a 12-15% increase in choke-flow limitation which significantly reduces turbine backpressure.
STAINLESS “STAGGER–GAP” PISTON RINGS
Stagger-gap piston rings offer improved performance by eliminating the
open path for oil to leak into the turbine section and preventing hot
exhaust gases from contaiminating the oil supply..
This simple but effective design is accomplished by a stepped-end cut
instead of the conventional through-cut utilized by stock ring manufacturers. Normal pressure differential between the bearing housing and the turbine
section force the opposing faces of the Stainless “Stagger-Gap” ring together, thereby
eliminating the open path.
Stainless “Stagger-Gap” rings are standard in all TURBONETICS performance turbochargers and are fully interchangeable with standard factory rings for all T2, T25, T28, T3, and T4
production turbochargers.

APPLICATIONS GUIDELINES
This section is intended to provide general turbocharger
sizing information, not solutions to specific turbochargerengine-vehicle combinations. Typically, an optimized
turbocharger match is the result of combined engine
dynamometer testing and installed vehicle performance
evaluation. Often, compromises must be made to arrive at
a match yielding satisfactory response, power and fuel
economy in a retrofit or special application.
Actual power produced by any gasoline-fueled engine is a
function of how much air flows through the engine,
regardless of whether it is naturally-aspirated,
supercharged or turbocharged. While there are many
variables that determine how well an engine "breathes", a
reasonable "guesstimate" of how much power will be
generated can be approximated by simply multiplying the
engine air-flow by 10. As an example, an engine that will
flow 35 lbs./min. will deliver approximately 350 HP. Keep
this in mind as you make your turbocharger selection.
Estimated engine air flow requirements at varying RPM are
plotted in Figure 1 for typical 5 psi and 10 psi boost levels,
and in Figure 2 for 10 psi and 15 psi (intercooled, typical
modern 4 valve/cyl. Engine, or race "ported" 2 valve
engine.) To determine air-flow for a given size engine at
maximum engine speed, read upward in Figure 1 or Figure
2, to the appropriate boost and speed line. Engine air-flow
requirement is read directly by projecting the boost- speed
point horizontally to the left.
Compressor selection can be made by matching the air
flow determined above with the associated pressure ratio
and plotting these two parameters on the compressor maps
illustrated on pages 16 to 23. NOTE: Pressure ratio is
defined by dividing the absolute compressor discharge
pressure, P2, (boost pressure in psi plus ambient pressure
in psi; ie: 10 psi boost plus 14.7 psi ambient equals 24.7 psi
absolute) by the absolute compressor inlet (ambient)
pressure, P1, (ie: 24.7 psia/14.7 psia equals a pressure
ratio of 1.68). This value is shown as P2/P1 on the vertical

where the air flow and the pressure ratio intersect at a flow
value where the plotted efficiency is no less than 60% - this
will determine which compressor is suited for your
application. There will probably be more than one
compressor which will satisfy your requirements – in this
case, pick the compressor which has the LOWEST surge
air flow limit at the selected pressure ratio – this will provide
the widest range of performance at that boost.
In the case of larger displacement engines with high
RPM capability, it will usually be necessary to use two
turbochargers to provide adequate air for the desired air
flow/ boost conditions. To determine operating points on a
compressor map for a twin turbocharger arrangement,
divide the total air flow found in Figure 2 in half, and select
a map that will satisfy those conditions.
Do not attempt to establish an operating point in an
area on a compressor map to the left of the surge line. This
is an area characterized by unstable operation and violent
flow reversal, potentially resulting in turbocharger failure.
Turbine selection and a method of boost control for
spark ignited engines must also be considered for a
successful turbocharger match. Most turbochargers
described in this catalog are equipped with a Wastegate or
other device to bleed off excess exhaust energy when a
desired boost is attained. TURBONETICS, Inc. offers the
DELTAGATE mark II and the RACEGATE Wastegate in
several configurations to satisfy most applications.
Turbine selection is a variable based on intended use,
weight and desired response. Turbine power available to
drive the compressor can varied in two ways: 1 the Area to
Radius (A/R) ratio of the turbine housing can be changed to
alter turbine inlet pressure; and 2 the turbine wheel trim can
be specified to affect an increase or decrease in turbine
pressure for a given turbine housing A/R (see data sheets
for available turbine trim and housing information). Initial
recommendations for normal single turbocharger
applications (assuming a controlled boost of 10 psi or less)
may be selected as shown in the following table:

TURBONETICS, INC., new home of SPEARCO RACING INTERCOOLERS, is proud to offer this
new, 2001-2002 catalog, which is completely revised and provides more application information than
ever before. The air/liquid section has been enlarged and includes a greater selection of
dimensional drawings and other data with regard to air/liquid intercoolers in drag racing applications.
We are now offering, in some sizes, a new tube type core which is unique in that the tubes and
internal fins are extruded in one continuous piece.
In addition to the various cast aluminum manifold castings shown in this catalog, which are used on
a variety of cores by cutting their length to match the core, Spearco can also fabricate special
manifolds from aluminum sheet and channel for special applications to fit all intercooler installation
requirements. Pictured in this catalog are some of the special intercooler assemblies which have
been produced for race, offroad, industrial, marine, and other applications. Spearco can fabricate to
customer specifications or sketches and also offers complete engineering assistance for intercooler
design and application.
In addition to the standard cores as listed herein, Spearco can manufacture special size bar and
plate style cores in thicknesses of 1.25", 2.25", 3.0", 3.5", 4.0", 4.5", and 6.0" and rectangular
welded tube cores in thicknesses of 2.0" and 3.0". Contact Spearco for any special size
requirements. Spearco also has available a complete, multi-page booklet entitled "ALL ABOUT
INTERCOOLING". This booklet includes intercooler theory, details on various types and styles of
intercooler construction, sizing and selection information, tubing size recommendations, how and
where to install the intercooler and other technical and practical information.
This catalog will clear up any myths or misconceptions on intercooling and, along with this catalog,
provides a comprehensive guide to the practical and most efficient application of intercoolers.

SIMPLIFIED INTERCOOLER SELECTION GUIDE
Below is a chart showing various engine sizes and applications, which can be used to quickly locate basic core sizes that, from a size
and flow standpoint, would be applicable to your specific application. The chart is intended to give a general selection only of the cores
that could be used in these applications. For specific, more detailed application, refer to the detailed flow charts on each core on pages
30 to 40. Additional sizing information and general information on intercooling is illustrated in a booklet available from Spearco, entitled
"ALL ABOUT INTERCOOLING".
If the flow charts are to be used for selection, you should look for an intercooler that has a pressure drop of approximately 1 PSI and
efficiency of 75% or greater. Note: The flow charts give pressure drop across the core only. Depending on the design and flow rate, each
manifold will have an additional pressure drop from .1 PSI to .3 PSI. See the example below that shows how to use the flow charts.
Since ambient air velocity through the intercooler is most likely unknown in most cases, when using the flow charts, use the 10MPH line.

CUSTOM FABRICATION
Using any of the extensive line of air/air intercooler cores listed on page 27. Spearco can custom fabricate end
tanks, or intercooler manifolds, in an endless number of configurations to fit individual specifications. Some of the
more common configurations are shown below. Manifolds can be straight or tapered with tube sizes of 1.75", 2.0",
2.25", 2.50", 2.75", 3.0", and 4.0". In addition, the cast manifolds shown on the previous page can be modified by
sawing off connections, capping, hole sawing, or welding in hose connections as required.
Spearco can provide engineering assistance in the design of your intercooler core assembly, when 1 or 100 units
are required.

TUBE & FIN INTERCOOLERS
New from Turbonetics, Spearco are tube and fin intercoolers that feature lightweight cores with high effectiveness.
These intercooler cores feature a new, proprietary design aluminum internal tube that is designed in such a way
that the internal fins are extruded in one continuous piece, which creates greater increases in efficiency and
reduces pressure drop. This unique design concept produces very uniform and dimensionally accurate tubes,
which contribute to a leak-free junction between the tube header and the tube header plate. Additionally, the tubes
are rounded on the abient air side, which contributes to smooth ambient side cooling air flow for additional
efficiency. Other benefits are lightweight and high strength.

AIR/LIQUID INTERCOOLERS
Spearco now offers basic air/liquid intercooler cores that can be combined in a large variety of ways to suit intercooler
needs on Roots or Centrifical superchargers and turbochargers. Refer to the detailed drawings.
Air/liquid intercoolers operate by pumping cooled water through the cores either from a front-mounted radiator or heat
exchanger or chilled water produced by circulating the liquid through a container filled with ice, as used in drag racing.
Depending on engine size and heat load, we recommend a container that will hold a minimum of 12 pounds of ice. If a
front radiator is used, this should be as large as possible since the temperature of the liquid entering the intercooler
determines the cooling effectiveness. We recommend a radiator as used on small automobiles with a minimum
surface area of at least 260 sq. inches. Radiator technology is preferable rather than oil cooler technology as these
are specifically designed to cool water/glycol. When these intercoolers are used with chilled water, it is possible, in
some cases, to get charge temperatures below ambient temperature, therefore remarkable increases in air density
and power, are possible.
Performance rate calculated with 30 PSI boost, 400˚ inlet
temperature and 100˚ or 45˚ cooling liquid. When used at lower boost
levels, temperature reduction will be less.

DRAG RACING WITH AIR/LIQUID INTERCOOLERS
There are diverse opinions about the advantage of air/liquid intercoolers versus air/air intercoolers in drag racing
applications. Some say there is no advantage over air/air and they also say if there is an advantage it is offset by the
added weight.
The real facts are that other than a small additional weight factor, a proper application of an air/liquid intercooler will
increase power much more than enough to offset any additional weight and will always yield superior performance over
an air/air unit. And, sometimes the additional weight is needed for ballast and this disadvantage is erased.
To understand why air/liquid intercoolers are superior for drag racing, consider that the cooling medium in an air/air
intercooler is the ambient temperature of the outside air at any given time. If we have an engine running 30 PSI boost
pressure, depending on compressor efficiency, the discharge temperature will be approximately 400˚, with an ambient
temperature of 90˚F.
Assume that you have and air/air intercooler that can give 90% effectiveness at over 100mph and less at lower vehicle
speeds. 90% at the above condition will give a temperature out of the intercooler of approximately 120˚F., and higher
temperature out at lower speeds due to lower cooling and velocity across the surface of the core. Additionally, you are
leaving the line with a hot intercooler caused by heating during burn out.
Now, consider a drag car using an air/liquid intercooler circulating ice water. The pump is turned on before the burn out
and when you leave the line the charge temperature will remain more stable throughout the run and the charge
temperature can actually be much lower than ambient temperature, depending on the size of the intercooler. A properly
sized air/liquid intercooler could easily give a charge temperature of 60˚ (on a 90˚ day!), which would be 60˚ lower than
the air/air unit. This reduction in charge temperature not only gives a significant increase in power and torque, but also
allows the use of more aggressive ignition timing for even greater increases in power.

TURBONETICS INC
NOW... a thoroughly engineered intercooler upgrade system for the SVO 2.3 Litre Turbo... one that really performs on
stock, unmodified SVO engines and has plenty of cooling capacity for highly modified, high boost, high rpm engines
where air flow through the engine may exceed 700 CFM or double the air flow of a stock engine.
Careful planning and engineering has produced this superior design which features a massive intercooler that is twice
the size of the stock unit and 23% thicker. At stock rating of 205 HP, at 5000 RPM, pressure drop through the factory
intercooler is approximately 1.1 PSI. At this condition, the Spearco intercooler has only .21 PSI pressure drop reducing
the air charge down to about 20˚ above ambient temperature, a reduction of more than 160%! This is a vast
improvement in air density and horsepower. On a stock engine, it can yield a 16% increase in power with no increase in
boost pressure. On engines producing 200HP or more, it can add 40HP to 50HP.
The Spearco intercooler is mounted vertically behind the radiator and picks up an unlimited supply of cool air from
beneath the vehicle with a specially shaped air duct design to convert the high velocity air into pressure to feed the
intercooler.
The system can be installed in approximately 3 hours with simple hand tools and only 3 small holes need to be drilled to
relocate the engine coolant reservoir and adds only 13lbs. to the vehicle weight.
Intercooler System for SVO 2.3L Mustang
Options Available: Part #2-1235 Bypass valve kit. Relieves boost pressure
stored in the intercooler and tubes and promotes quick turbo spool-up.
Minimizes throttle lift off "bump" associated with large intercoolers.
Part #2-1236 Competition air duct spoiler. Increases cooling air through the
intercooler by 60%, increases charge cooling as much as 15% over standard
air duct. For competition use only as ground clearance is reduced to less
than 2-3/4" (depending on ride height).
Part No. 2-430 Ford Mustang SVO 2.3L
TOYOTA SUPRA INTERCOOLER UPGRADE
This is a bolt-on, high-performance intercooler upgrade using a very high
flow core, rated at 1080 CFM. This replacement core assembly offers a
24% decrease in pressure drop, as well as a 22% increase in heat
rejection. The kit includes, in addition to the larger, oversize intercooler
core assembly, all necessary hardware, tubing, elbows and hoses as
shown for installation and connection into existing factory piping system
with simple hand tools. Approximate installation time is 3 to 4 hours.

NISSAN 300ZX INTERCOOLER SYSTEM
This system features a large, high capacity, dual core, front mounted
intercooler for low pressure drop and maximum air charge temperature
reduction. Large, 2-1/4" OD tubing is utilized with long radius bends to
minimize pressure losses. This system yields good performace
improvement and dynamic improvements can be realized by increasing
boost pressure and adding optional fuel adder devices. Approximate
installation time is 7 hours with simple hand tools.

1984-85 BUICK GRAND NATIONAL/REGAL
INTERCOOLER SYSTEM
This proven and thoroughly tested intercooler system has a high flow core,
carefully sized to maximize engine performance and yet maintain a
workable engine coolant temperature. Pressure drop is down to a minimum
with charge air temperature reduced as much as 110˚F., making this
system a very effective performance enhancer. Power increases as much
as 24% (depending on vehicle speed and rpm) as the result of dense air
charge. The system is complete with all necessary mounting hardware,
including 2-1/4" diameter tubes, throttle body adapter, manifold adapter,
and all necessary hardware. Installation time is approximately 6 to 7 hours
(including 4 hours to remove and reposition the compressor housing).

FORD 2.3L TURBO T'BIRD/COUGAR
1983-1/2 - 1986 INTERCOOLER SYSTEM
This system was originally designed and manufactured for the Ford
SVO Motorsports parts program, and is now available directly from
Spearco. The front mounted intercooler receives cool air via the
radiator grill and, at maximum rpm, charge air temperature is
reduced more than 130˚ with only .8 PSI pressure drop, resulting in
an 18% to 20% increase in power. The system comes complete, as
shown, with all necessary hardware plus a compressor bypass
valve to maintain quick boost and minimize part throttle surge.
Easily installed with simple hand tools in less than four hours.

INTERCOOLER SYSTEM
NOW... the 6.5 turbo diesel can have the same power enhancing intercooler
technology used by nearly all of the big, long haul, Class 8, 18 wheelers
nationwide. Intercooling increases power and torque with absolutely no
negative impact on engine durability. Once the initial investment is made, the
result is a lifetime of free power and improved fuel economy.
This intercooler system reduces charge air temperature entering the engine,
increasing the air density for increases power and torque, while reducing the
overall thermal load on the engine and cooling system as exhaust
temperature is reduced as much as 150˚F. This results in less transfer of heat
to the cooling system and assists in maintaining normal coolant temperature
on long hard pulls towing high gross weight vehicles. Since the intercooler is
mounted between the "frame rail" below and behind the bumper there is no
impact on the engine cooling system. Air traveling beneath the vehicle is
trapped between the road and the bottom of the intercooler, which gives the
intercooler excellent performance even at low vehicle speed.
In addition to power and performance, you can anticipate an increase in fuel
economy as the cooler, denser air creates a lean air/fuel ratio and in
conjuction with less heat loss to the cooling system, fuel mileage can
increase from 4% to 7% depending on driving conditions, weight towed, etc.
Approximate installation time is 5 to 7 hours.

NewGen Wastegate
A totally new concept from Turbonetics! The NewGen’s swing valve design is unique for a
remote type wastegate that offers a clear exhaust path to regulate exhaust gases (as
opposed to a poppet type wastegate) to maintain and control operating boost pressure.
The NewGen wastegate features V-band type connection, a billet cap, a cast stainless
base, and a 2" inconel swing valve and has the capability to control 1000+ HP. During
R&D testing, the NewGen wastegate outflowed the nearest competitor by 50%.

develop 350-400HP. With the addition of a Variable Boost Control Regulator (PN 10402) the
DELTAGATE is fully adjustable over a wide boost range.

This high flow wastegate will control engines that develop 900+HP, with a 1.625" (42mm) stainless steel valve and the proven Deltagate actuator. “Boost creep” is practically eliminated. Fully

Bosch this OEM quality lightweight compressor bypass valve features 1” hose connections and
