ceremony with some extra special touches with our silver and gold package options.
2016 will also see the installation of video equipment in The Lady Wulfruna Suite to

Things to consider...
Giving notice of marriage
Up to 12 months before the big day, you will need to give notice of your marriage at the Register
Office. This is so you can declare that you are both free to marry each other. We are happy to
advise if you have any questions about this, but for more information about giving notice and the
documents you will need to bring, please click the following link:

Passport changes
Don’t forget to notify the passport authorities if you are changing your name! Remember, if you
are travelling abroad for your honeymoon, you will need to make any bookings in the name on
your passport when you travel. You can change your name on your passport to the new name
prior to the ceremony but the holiday must also be in that name. All the information you need is
contained in the following link, but we will be happy to assist if you require further clarification:

Photography and DVD information
Your photography option will depend on which wedding package you select. Official photographs
can be taken by your photographer with our silver and gold wedding packages. 2016 will see
The Lady Wulfruna Suite equipped with video equipment to record all the memories of your
ceremony. Talk to us about capturing your special day on film. Available with bronze, silver and
gold packages.

Things to consider...
Parking
With our silver and gold wedding packages, two parking spaces will be reserved for
the couple. But our city centre location means that there is ample parking for your
guests nearby.
Interpreters
If either of you is unable to speak or understand English, you will need to bring an
interpreter along with you. S/he could be a family member or friend and will simply be
asked to repeat the words used in the ceremony in English. Your interpreter will also
be asked to sign the Register as a witness and a declaration to confirm that both of
you have understood the meaning of the ceremony.

Renewal of Vows
A renewal of vows ceremony is a celebration for couples who want to renew their
marriage vows. You can renew your vows at any stage of married life or as a way to
commemorate a special anniversary. A renewal of vows ceremony is also a great way
to celebrate with family and friends after a wedding abroad.
A celebrant here at the Register Office will conduct the ceremony and be happy to
assist you in the lead up to the occasion.

Baby Naming Ceremony
A naming ceremony celebrates the birth of your baby and welcomes the new arrival into
your family. It is also a great way to welcome stepchildren and adoptive children into a
new family.
You can tailor your ceremony to include your own selection of words, readings and
music. In order to remember the occasion, we also offer celebratory certificates which
you can share with other family members.
