NORDTEK and the Faculty of Engineering, University of
Southern Denmark invite you to the NORDTEK Conference 2016 in
Odense, Denmark.
NORDTEK and The University of Southern Denmark (SDU) hereby invite you to the NORDTEK conference 2016, 10th June
2016. The conference will take place at SDU in Odense.
The NORDTEK conferences bring together the Technical Universities in the Nordic countries, their collaboration partners in
industry and other stakeholders to discuss topics of mutual interest.
The topic for the 2016 conference is:
“University and Industry collaboration”
Focus on production in high wage economies
The technical universities and engineering faculties in Northern Europe have a strong tradition for collaborating with industry. This collaboration includes joint research, education and innovation.
The NORDTEK conference 2016 aims to explore the effects and challenges of this collaboration.
The participants will identify best practices and discuss how the collaboration should evolve to maximise societal benefit.
The objective of the conference will be to identify which joint steps to take, and which changes should be implemented, to
ensure that technical universities support industry ideally in securing competitive and job creating industrial production in
high wage economies.

Transportation
Flight
Train
When travelling by flight, you will probably arrive at Copenhagen
airport. Copenhagen airport is an international airport with many
flights arriving from and departing to all regions of the world.
Alternatively, you can fly to Billund International Airport in Jutland –
this will require car rental or travelling first by bus to Vejle and then
train to Odense.
There are direct trains from Copenhagen airport to Odense. The train
ride from Copenhagen airport takes around 1½ hours. Train schedules are available and tickets can be booked at www.rejseplanen.dk.
English and German versions are available.
