The FB20 is the ideal binding machine for all corporations, financial
institutions, copy shops, print environments, or education establishments
that require professional-looking presentations, yearbooks or bound
documents at a fraction of the time required to bind with
alternative binding solutions such as coil, comb, or wire. This
machine offers unprecedented ease of use with its LCD display that
guides the user through each operation using animated illustrations.
The Fastback 20 works with all of the Powis binding materials, from the
versatile Super Strip to the customized Image Strip to the Perfectback
strips for perfect binding books. It can create anything from a simple report
to a 350-sheet hard cover book.

It’s as smalll as an inkjet printer and just as easy to use. Without buying
expensive metal dies or hot-foil stamping equipment, you can go
from concept to finished cover in less than two minutes.
Anyone can produce beautiful foil-printed covers on demand.
This 600 dpi printer will feed multiple pages, and is designed to
work with the Powis Comp Cover™ line of covers. It also prints in
foil on Powis’ 7 mil clear poly covers. The Foilfast printer uses drop-in
foil cartridges that come in seven popular colors: gold, silver, black
white, red, green, and blue. The foil colors match the colors available
for the PowisPrinter®, ensuring consistent design throughout your work.
Fastback® 9
A Stronger, Better Alternative to Coil
or Comb Binding
The versatile Fastback® 9 is the most compact and affordable
binding machine that Powis makes. Its desktop footprint (13”x19.5”)
is small enough to fit the most cramped conditions. The Fastback 9
handles tape binding, Image Strip™ binding, and hardcover book
binding. It is a great choice for the small office/home office (SOHO).
It’s also suitable for companies that do not have a central copy
shop, and require that each department handle its own binding.
In spite of its size and price point, the Fastback 9 is a powerful
machine that can produce finished binding 3.5 times faster than
traditional punch-and-bind systems. It binds from 10 to 250 sheets
and is perfect for short-run and occasional jobs.

designed to work with the Powis Fastback Hardcovers—considered by
many to be the best pre-made hard covers on the market.

Unlike standard thermal binding strips—which are only available
in a limited range of solid colors—the Image Strip can be
ordered in a variety of designs. Customers can order them with
their company’s name and logo added, or with any colors and
images that the company wishes to use. The Image Strip gives
your customers complete control over the appearance of their
documents. With the Image Strip, every document becomes an
ambassador for their companies. As well as being a powerful tool
for reinforcing and protecting corporate identity outside of the
office, it is also an excellent way to control documents within the
office. Larger companies may want to order slightly different strip
designs for each of their divisions. Currently, the Image Strip is
available only for use with the Fastback 9 binder.
PowisPrinter® Spine Printer
When a document is on the shelf, its spine becomes its most important
asset. The PowisPrinter® lets you add dazzling foil titles to the spines of
your tape-bound books and documents so they can be easily identified
when shelved. Simply design your cover or spine and print it out. Unlike
traditional foil stamping, you don’t need to make a die or wait for days—
you go from concept to finished cover or spine in less than two minutes.
PowisPrinter® prints with 7 colors of foil. To ensure design consistency, its
vibrant colors match those available with our Foilfast printer.
Use the 11 built-in fonts via the printer’s keyboard (included) or connect
the printer to a computer to use your own fonts and logos. Design titles
with three orientations (horizontal, vertical, and stacked), and type sizes
from 8 points to 84 points. The PowisPrinter docks to both the Fastback
15xs and Fastback 11. Infrared sensors automatically adjust the type size
on the spine to match the width of the book to be bound.

look to all Hard Cover Thermal Covers bound in the
Pro-Bind 2000. The one-hand operation is easy to
use and only takes seconds. There is no warm
up time or electrical power needed. It is able
to crimp spines 1/8’’ to 2’’ capacity, creating
a professional looking hard bound book with a
perfect tight spine. The Pro-Crimper is
constructed from quality steel and aluminum
and weighs approximately 5 pounds.

To make a longer lasting impression, Hard Cover Thermal Binders are the solution. Hard
Cover Thermal Binders will look polished and professional. Customize your hard covers with
1 color to 4 color offset printing, foil stamping, silk screening or custom die cuts. With the
adhesive glue strip pre-applied to the spine, they come ready to use.

Soft Cover Thermal Binders
Soft Cover Thermal Binders provide a polished and finished look to all bound documents.
The thermal adhesive is pre-applied to the spine for easy binding. No punching, crimping
or clean up! Simply place your loose pages into a soft cover thermal binder and place
into the Pro-Bind 2000. Depress the start button and seconds later your bind
is complete. Customize the binders with foil stamping, embossing,
transparent fronts, 1 color to 4 color process offset printing, custom die cuts
or pockets.
