The architecturally styled top and bottom are of burled wood with a high-gloss, piano finish. This piece is fitted with a beveled-glass door and is surrounded by glass on three sides. The polished enamel "floating dial" and long slender case bespeak the epitome of style and taste. This clock is easily one of our most popular models and is a favorite among our employees. It is made by Hermle in Germany and is available in birds-eye maple with nickel trim as well as natural cherry with brass trim. The Amerling's elegant simplicity allows it to fit in both antique and modern settings. 70616 160058 Amerling • Natural cherry finish European Collection • wall clocks Named for a prominent painter in the Biedermeier style, this elegant piece is a beautiful example of that period. Biedermeier works have a tendency to exhibit an atmosphere of quiet contemplation and a powerful simplicity of style. 70616 090058 Amerling • Solid bird’s-eye maple with natural finish Amerling 10” x 36” x 5” • Solid maple or cherry wood • Polished enamel dial • Beveled glass • Breguet-style hands • Burled, piano finish accents • Strike shut-off switch 11 632 Amsterdam 10” x 24” x 7” (pictured below) • Fourteen-day movement with hour and half-hour Bim-Bam strike on bells • Solid hardwood case • Metal dial, hand-painted pastoral scene • Beveled and leaded glass • Satin, antique oak finish 70841 Q20058 Berlin 10” x 34” x 7” (pictured above) • Traditional two-weight Vienna regulator movement • Stately hour and half-hour gong strike • Polished enamel dial, Breguet-style hands • Case made from solid hardwoods • Milled accents • Beveled glass, satin antique cherry finish 12 7401 K Bamberg 9” x 19” x 6” (pictured below) • Intricately cut fretwork case • Made in the Black Forest by awardwinning clock maker Ingolf Haas • Enamel dial, Breguet-style hands • Eight-day movement with hour and halfhour strike on two brass bells Jeweler’s Regulator 8” x 30” x 5” • Calendar mechanism • Hour and half-hour gong strike with shut-off switch • Simple and elegant case with burled and piano-finish accents • Three pieces of glass • Raised brushed-gold numerals on an enamel dial • Case made from solid hardwoods with burled veneer accents • Available in walnut and natural cherry finishes 70697 160058 • Natural cherry Jeweler’s Regulator Vienna regulators have always been the standard by which all wall clocks have been measured. The weight-driven mechanism allows the clock to be more accurate than a simple spring wound mechanism. These clocks were the most accurate clocks one could own before the time of quartz and atomic technology. 70697 030058 • French walnut Jeweler’s Regulator North Coast Imports specializes in carrying regulators which contain movements that are faithful reproductions of these clocks. The weights are small, as they would have been in the Nineteenth-Century, and the pendulum has a slow majestic sweep without much over-swing. These clocks have a large and resonant coil gong that strikes the hour and half-hour. These small, precision movements allow for a more elegant and well proportioned case. 13 70650 030058 • French walnut Prinz Eugen Prinz Eugen 8” x 31” x 4” • Multi-function dial includes hours, minutes, day, date, month, and phases of the moon • High-precision regulator movement • Nickel-plated weights, bezel, pendulum, and chapter ring • Three pieces of beveled glass • Burled accents • Solid hardwoods with beautiful semi-gloss finish 70650 160058 • Natural cherry 14 Prinz Eugen SW 818 160 03 12” x 25” x 6” Bauhaus This charming timepiece brings us back to one of the most popular and classic designs of the modern era. The German “Box-Clock” style was avidly produced since Gustav Becker introduced it in the early part of the Twentieth Century. This piece by Sternreiter is the finest (and to our knowledge the only) example available in America today The glass is beveled and leaded in a simple Bauhaus, or Shaker design. The solid-brass trim has an elegant brushed finish. The case is made of thick, solid hardwood boards and is available in a satin French walnut finish. This clock sounds the Westminster chimes on long chime rods. These are not the short chime rods found on most spring-wound clocks in this price range. Instead, this piece has a deep and rich sound similar to that of a grandfather clock. They emerged at the end of the 17th century and were produced in large numbers up to the beginning of the 20th century. Also known as Comptoise clocks, they can be easily recognized by their beautifully well-made movement. The hammered pendulum is very large and hangs in front of the weights. The Jean Kazes is a mobier clock, hand made according to centuries-old tradition with a modern expression. This piece is an impressive statement by all accounts and is an individually built piece of timekeeping art. 7378 Kapuziner 11” x 31” x 4” (pictured below) • Eight-day, weight-driven movement • Hour and half-hour strike on coil gong • Individually hand painted with incredible detail, each clock is different • Antique brass weights, pendulum, and hands • Animated monk actually pulls bell for hour and half-hour strike • Another fine clock hand painted by the award-winning Conny Haas of Rombach und Haas • See our Black Forest Clock Catalog for more models like this WW 810 932 00 Jean Kazes 15” x 54” x 10” (pictured right) • Redesigned clock in the comptoise tradition • Hand-made, cast-iron and brass movement • Cable-wind movement with traditional red cord • Rich, cast-brass bell strikes hour and half-hour • Made by hand, Limited production 21 22841 030340 22841 160340 Natural cherry finish (pictured above) • Automatic night shut-off switch • Large date calender display • Four pieces of beveled glass, hand-blown glass top • Gold embossed Arabic numerals • Solid hardwood case with burled finish, medium gloss • Intricate Italian inlay 6405 P Cromwell 7” x 14” x 6” (pictured right) • Traditional early English design • Beautifully hand painted in Holland • Antique brass finish with handengraved dial • Intricate filigree hands • Hour and half-hour strike on two brass bells 6405 E Cromwell (pictured left) 7” x 14” x 6” • Traditional early English design • Beautifully engraved with medieval motif • Antique brass finish with hand-engraved dial • Intricate filigree hands • Hour and half-hour strike on two brass bells 22 French walnut finish (pictured below) This clock commemorates Hermle’s eighty-year history in an exquisite piece with hand-blown glass, Italian inlay, and calendar-function dial.
