Press Kit - Sam Weber
Sam Weber is a fresh-faced young comic from the San
Francisco Bay Area. He is adorable, but you cannot
take him home with you. His act is a mix of clever
jokes and elaborate stories like the one about how he
got fired on Halloween while dressed as his boss. Sam
got his start in comedy at 17 years old, practicing at
open mics and developing his writing abilities at
UCSC’s satirical newspaper, Fish Rap Live!, and
men’s interest website Gunaxin.com.
Now halfway through his fourth year in stand-up,
Sam has performed at every full-time comedy club in
the Bay Area. He has had the opportunity to share the
stage with national headliners such as Steve Wilson,
Andrew Norelli, KT Tatara, Jeff Applebaum, Larry
“Bubbles” Brown, Annie Lederman, Sammy Obeid, Kabir Singh, and Steven Pearl.
At the end of 2013, Sam hosted a limited-engagement comedy show on KSCO 1080
AM in Santa Cruz. He currently co-hosts his every-so-often podcast “A Long Walk”
with his brother-in-law Kevin Koleckar, and performs wherever he can, except funerals. He learned his lesson about that the first two times. Performance dates are
available on his website.
