Offender Information Sharing Local, State, Federal and Public How We Share Our Offender Data History The Arkansas DOC began developing it’s web based electronic Offender Management Information System as a joint project with the Department of Community Correction in March 2000. Zip Code narrows available address list Example: Address search return contains information on all known occupants The Person Search by Name/ID requires that you enter at least a partial last name and a partial first name Example: Person Name Search The “Admin” tab contains user password reset option Local Law Enforcement Between 2008 and 2009 we provided access to more than 65 sheriff departments and 100 Police departments . Federal Agencies In 2010 we provided access to the Arkansas branches of US Marshal service, US Probation and FBI US Probation We work closely with the Arkansas Fusion Center and FBI to provide data pertaining to Security Threat Groups that have been identified within the institutions. Fusion Center In January 2011 we received a request from the local Immigration Department which is a division of Homeland Security requesting access to our offender tracking system. They learned of LLE and Federal agencies accessing our system from a U.S. Marshal. ICE Local Government Agencies In February 2011 the local Prosecuting Attorney offices inquired about our system. By allowing them access to our reports for “pen packs” overall costs will be reduced and courts will receive information needed for prosecution without additional delay State Government Agencies State Agencies using the electronic Offender Management Information System include but not limited to: Arkansas Department of Correction Arkansas Department Of Community Correction Arkansas Parole Board Arkansas Governor’s Office Institutional Parole Services Arkansas Crime Information Center Extract files containing offender date are provided to multiple agencies: Information Network of Arkansas for the ADC Social Security Administration, Office of Child Support GTL for phone payments Census Bureau Department of Health Appriss for Victim Notifications. Multiple Local, State and Federal agencies have benefited from the ability to access our Offender Management Information System.
