Gran Canaria is proud to be home to the oldest
golf club in Spain, inaugurated in 1891. The course
is located alongside the crater of an old volcano,
demonstrating Gran Canaria’s volcanic origins, and
it boasts amazing views of the summit, the sea and
its spectacular, deep ravines.
The Vik Hotel Bandama Golf is on the same course,
located next to hole 1 tee, for anyone who wants
to enjoy stunning views over the course. It is a
relatively short course with narrow straights, small

FEATURES:
Located along the GC-1 motorway, only six kilometres
from the city of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, this
course is one of the longest in Spain. Its design, of
up to six tees per hole, allows golfers of all levels to
enjoy the course.
Integrated into a fantastic plantation of hundred-year
old palms, the course follows 3 valleys filled with
indigenous flora. The six lakes provide a refreshing
atmosphere completed by views of the sea.
El Cortijo Club de Campo played host to the 2002
Spanish Open, with a victory for Sergio Garcia.

FEATURES:
The Meloneras Golf Course, situated in the south of Gran
Canaria, along the Meloneras Bay, is characterized by its 9
holes of magnificent mountain views and 9 holes of amazing
ocean views, 3 of which are located on the coastline.
Each hole is equipped with 4 tees, making the design of
this course attractive for the golfer of any level of play
and among its many amenities are golf carts equipped with
GPS. The first hole is not excessively difficult, but the
difficulty increases little by little in the course of the game,
challenging the player to do the same, bettering their game
with each stroke.
As a new addition, the course offers “Riksha” trolleys that
have a special extra-light design and a new golf academy
equipped with the V1 digital technical system, in addition
to being the only school on the island that provides players
with a “Nike Fitting Cart”.

This course is found in a landscape characteristic of the
southern area of the Island, with canyons and views of the
mountains and the sea, contrasting the green and garden
areas with desert surroundings. A golfer of any level will
find the course entertaining.
Salobre philosophy is to offer a high quality of service
to all its clients. Included in the green fees are tees,

A second course of 18 holes is being developed, known as
Salobre Golf’s North Course. It imitates a style that will

1. Real Club de Golf de Las Palmas
Access to the course:
From the south: GC-1 motorway (heading north towards Las Palmas GC), GC-3 exit
Tafira-Tamaraceite, GC-4 exit Tafira, towards Santa Brígida; at the end of the motorway,
follow the signs to Golf Bandama.
2. El Cortijo Club de Campo
Access to the course:
GC-1 motorway, 6.4 km, El Cortijo exit.
3. Maspalomas Golf
Access to the course:
GC-1 south motorway, Maspalomas exit; cross 2 consecutive roundabouts until you see a large monolith
around 300m on the left emblazoned with the name of the course.
4. LOPESAN Meloneras Golf
Access to the course:
GC-1 motorway, Exit 50-Pasito Blanco, continue towards Pasito Blanco; at the first roundabout turn left
and continue towards Pasito Blanco and after 50 m turn left to enter Meloneras Golf Resort.
5. Salobre Golf & Resort SUR
Access to the course:
GC-1 motorway - Exit 53, Salobre Golf.
6. Salobre Golf & Resort NORTE
Access to the course:
GC-1 motorway - Exit 53, Salobre Golf.
7. Anfi Tauro Golf
Access to the course:
GC-1 motorway, 61 km point, Tauro exit.
