Woods & Finishes
Distressed pine veneers and plantation-grown New Zealand pine solids in a
warm brown Amaretto finish with a spatter technique give the collection a
casual feel. A 14-step finishing system adds depth and character to the pieces.
Forms
Soft shapes such as serpentines, sculpted overlay moldings and turned legs are
paired with stepped moldings, overlays and fancy grilles to add sophisticated
elegance. Solid wood hand carvings add beauty and distinction.
Accents & Hardware
Dark Emperador slab stone, decorative hardware in a burnished gold finish,
seeded glass and metal overlays exude a European feel that is enhanced by
decorative cast metal evocative of the entry gates of a Mediterranean villa.
Function
A multi-functional bar back unit (840/841) is specially designed to fit a new
slim-fit Samsung 46-inch DLP HDTV introduction. A bedroom chest (118)
features a drop-front lid that reveals space for a laptop computer.
Construction
Drawers are constructed with solid wood sides and backs with veneer bottoms
that are sanded, stained and finished for strength and protection. Hardwood
drawer guides, stop blocks and dust-proofing panels enhance drawer function.
VILLA HERMOSA
Villa Hermosa - its very name means "beautiful village." The lifestyle it invokes is one of
graceful relaxation, of quiet repose, of comfort and well-traveled ease. Reminiscent of
Mediterranean country villas, this traditional yet casual collection features sophisticated
designs in grand proportions. Drawing on European influences, it has the feel of generations
past, yet is clearly grounded in the needs of today. Inspired by the California wine country,
the collection is presented in distressed pine with a rich, warm brown Amaretto finish to
showcase the natural beauty of the wood. With an emphasis on shape, designs use curves,
serpentines, and sculpted moldings to create a look of softness and artful flow. Classical
influences are evident in the many symmetrical and geometric patterns that are repeated
throughout the collection. Accents of cast metal, dark Emperador marble and seeded glass

spaces suitable for tray storage. Between partitions is
