Stephen Finer Yehudi Menuhin Oil on canvas, 51cm x 41cm “An extraordinary achievement in its own right ... an intensely personal and powerful work” Stephen Finer Robin Gibson, Former Chief Curator at the National Portrait Gallery, London Stephen Finer is an acclaimed British painter who has been showing for over twenty years, receiving phenomenal recognition as one of the most distinguished artists of his generation. His work is highly collectable and is in many private and public collections including the Arts Council, the National Portrait Gallery and the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. Recently he was in ‘Painting The Century: 101 Portrait Masterpieces 1900-2000’ at the National Portrait Gallery where his ‘David Bowie’ is in the Permanent Collection.
