Hello and thank you for taking the time to consider this proposal,
For the 2016 racing season, MDR Motorsport with driver Haydn Clark are seeking
sponsorship to compete in the Australian Toyota 86 Racing Series. This series is
scheduled to run for a minimum of 3 years. The category will be managed by
Toyota Motor Corporation Australia Ltd and marketed under the official banner
of Toyota Racing Australia.
Our team - MDR Motorsport will be running the 3 year program and is
currently talking with corporate sponsors that will benefit and enjoy their
company/brand being exposed and promoted on a national level. On a
personal level, the sponsors will have the opportunity to be part of the team attend racing and promotional events, get rides in the race car on track days
and generally be part of the action.
This new and exciting series is a one make controlled category, based on the
legendary Toyota 86 model. Key specifications are controlled to ensure their
suitability and reliability, utilising a low cost performance kit, ensuring a level
playing field where the emphasis will be on driver skill.
Australia will be joining New Zealand, Japan and Germany in hosting the one
make category. The events will be held in conjunction with 5 rounds of the V8
Supercars and has been sanctioned by the Confederation of Australia Motor Sport
(CAMS).
FOX Sports televises every V8 Supercars round, including support categories
live on TV, plus Network Ten televises 6 key rounds on free to air.
Toyota has confirmed a $50,000 cash prize for the series winner, combined with a
$20,000 international VIP experience – the details of which are still to be revealed.
Second place in the one-make 2016 series will pocket $30,000 and third place will
take $15,000.

The series organisers will also nominate a ‘risingVersion
star’
driver that finishes outside

the top three, winning flights, accommodation and entry to a round of New
Zealand’s Toyota Finance 86 championship.

Neal Bates Motorsports, owned by the four-time Australian Rally Champion
Neal Bates, has developed and tested a race package that includes suspension,
brakes, extractors and exhaust, ECU, oil cooler, rims and tyres, as well as
mandatory safety gear. NBM is the point of contact for technical regulations and
control components supply.
Airtime Autosport, owned by former professional driver and TV commentator
Neil Crompton, has been appointed as Category Administrators and is the point
of contact for competitors and for the series promotion.

It is anticipated that in 2017 Round 1 will be at Clipsal 500, Adelaide and will also include a Queensland round.

biography
My passion for driving ensures that one of my
greatest loves is going racing - being totally
committed to everything I undertake, I strive to get
the best out of myself and my equipment.
From many years competing in an under 2 litre Sports Sedan, I have
developed the ability to extract every ounce of performance from the
vehicle, while ensuring it lasts the distance.
This ability has allowed me to punch above my weight, outside of
my capacity in the outright classes. My performances are recognised
nationally by fellow competitors and officials.
When not competing, any spare time is consumed by motorsport for
spectating, officiating or supporting others.
