The Tampa Bay Times would like to thank the
businesses, organizations and individuals who
supported our Newspaper in Education (NIE)
program during the 2011 - 2012 school year between
August 1, 2011 and July 31, 2012.
$5,000 to $9,999
NIE provides Tampa Bay area schools with free access to the Times
and related learning materials. Tampa Bay area teachers order more than
5 million print and electronic newspapers for their classrooms every year.
One hundred percent of gifts to NIE are used to provide educational
resources to local schools. We are grateful for the support of the many
generous businesses, organizations and individuals who support our
mission.
By supporting NIE, you have a direct impact on classrooms in our
community, helping to improve students’ academic achievement, create
lifelong readers and cultivate informed and engaged citizens.
