Kombo Beach is one of the most popular hotels in The Gambia,
renowned for its genial atmosphere, exceptionally friendly staff and
desirable location, right on the sandy beach at Kotu.

Kombo is one of the livelier Gambian hotels, and there always appears to
be something going on, be it organised daytime activities around the pool
area (table tennis or water polo, anyone?), or cultural acts in the evening
such as drumming troupes. That said, the hotel also displays a distinctively
Gambian charm: things are never too lively and you can always slip into a
relaxing doze in the massage parlour, by the pool or on the beach…
The spacious standard rooms are fairly basic and arrayed in three-storey
buildings, with views towards the ocean or overlooking the lush gardens
and there are numerous room types should you wish to upgrade. The
hotel’s two bars and restaurants share equally good locations, gathered
around the pool area and within earshot of the gently rolling surf. There’s
something distinctively ‘Kombo’ about the early evening and enjoying a
cool Julbrew while you gaze at the sun setting over the ocean…
