Now in its fifteenth year, the Conference continues to bring together a nationally renowned faculty of judges, academics, and practitioners. This year’s committee has done a wonderful job of putting together a program of timely topics. PRIORE ADVOCACY AND PROFESSIONALISM AWARD The Central New York Bankruptcy Bar Association and the Capital Region Bankruptcy Bar Association are seeking nominations for the 2010 Nicholas S. Priore Advocacy and Professionalism Award. This award is presented to a bankruptcy attorney practicing in the Northern District of New York who demonstrates skilled advocacy on behalf of clients, while maintaining a spirit of collegiality and professionalism. The award will be presented at the Annual Conference in October. Nominations should provide basic background information concerning the nominee, along with a brief explanation as to why the nominee should be considered for the award. The recipient will be selected by the presidents of the CNYBBA and CRBBA, in conjunction with the law firm of Getnick Livingston Atkinson and Priore, LLP.
