Assembly Instructions
Step 1: Measure and mark the center of the truck bed so that you can
easily center the rack. It is important that you center the rack onto the bed to
ensure even weight distribution. It is recommended that the Carrier Rails are
mounted 30” apart on the centers of the tubing as shown below. If the rails
are mounted too close together, the chances of the glass being able to tip off
the side greatly increases.

Step 2: Place each of the Bumper Rails as close to the edge as you can
without impeding any doors or other hardware that may cover the bed of
the truck. When all four pieces are in place as shown below, they are
ready to be mounted to the bed of the truck.

Installing Multiple FB-Racks
If multiple FB-Racks of varying length are being installed in-line onto the same
surface, verify that the corresponding rack components are mounted directly across one
another. This ensures that the mounting holes are located directly across from one another
and will make the mounting locations more consistent. Also make sure that the rails are
butted up tight together to prevent the glass from slipping through the joint where the two

Installation Advisements
Once the rack is located at the desired location, mark all of the
mounting locations where you will be drilling the 3/8” clearance holes. Before
drilling any holes, SEE NOTE BELOW. Once you verify that it is safe to drill
through the mounting surface, drill all four holes with a Letter “X” (n.397”)
drill bit. You will then place the rack over the four drilled holes and place the
supplied bolts and lock washers through the holes as shown in the diagram
below. Lastly, from underneath the vehicle you will securely tighten one of the
provided nuts onto each of the four bolts that you just placed through the
mounting holes using the 9/16” box end wrench.

PROFESSIONAL OR TECHNICAL INSTALLATION EXPERIENCE IS
REQUIRED FOR THE INSTALLATION OF ALL BURCO® REDI RACK™
SYSTEMS. BE AWARE OF ANY AND ALL EQUIPMENT THAT IS LOCATED
BELOW RACK BEFORE INSTALLING. IF YOU ARE DRILLING HOLES INTO
THE FLOOR OR BED OF A VEHICLE, VERIFY THAT YOU WILL NOT BE
DRILLING INTO ANY GAS LINES, GAS TANKS, EXHAUST PARTS OR
ANYTHING ELSE THAT MAY BE LOCATED DIRECTLY UNDERNEATH THE
MOUNTING HOLES.
