Gynius’ Solution to Cervical Cancer
Cervical cancer is the second most common
cancer in women worldwide, with over 500,000
new cases reported each year. Through early
screening, diagnosis and treatment, complications resulting from cervical cancer can
be avoided. The Gynocular is the world’s first
portable colposcope which was invented by a
Swedish gynecologist.
Gynius has developed clinical software to be
used in conjunction with a smartphone. This
provides an electronic clinical record for use in
colposcopic examinations. The Gynocular T2D
provides the transfer and storage of images
and results from a colposcopy examination to the secure cloud.
This is a stand-alone system or it can be integrated into an existing Electronic Medical Record.
The Gynocular T2D possesses true tele-medicine capabilities and enables you to teach, consult,
and record efficiently.

Gynius Tele-medicine Solution
The groundbreaking Gynocular T2D software for smartphones enables you to record patient data
and high definition images of the cervix to document cervical abnormalities, review, refer patients, consult, teach and confer with colleagues over Skype.
Our solution is simple: a smartphone, an activation key and an organization code is all you require to start the software. The solution for organizations can be used through the secure cloud
platform, for individual use we recommend the desktop version which can be downloaded from
our secure website.
For patient protection and data security, examination data and images are not stored on the
smartphone, but are immediately uploaded to the Gynocular secure cloud. The Gynocular T2D
is guarded through controlled encryption, enabling secure storage and transmission that has an
end-to-end source verification through signatures and certification process.
The Gynocular T2D preserves data integrity and patient privacy throughout the integration / installation process.
Uploading of the Gynocular T2D examinations is done automatically to the cloud when you have a
good internet connection point.
The cost of the software is license based and can be based on a one, two or three year agreement. The cost depends on the number of licenses.
