The 1982 World’s Fair was held in Knoxville, Tennessee right outside these expansive
floor-to-ceiling windows in World’s Fair Park. The fair opened May 1 and welcomed more
than 11 million visitors over six months. Twenty-two countries from around the globe
participated and a number of international dishes were introduced to the region.
In homage to the World’s Fair, Executive Chef Christopher Leynes and his dynamic culinary
team feature nationally and internationally-inspired creations with a “Southern Twist.”
