Our summer camps are like no other!
Our Image & Confidence/Modeling 1 camp is
for females ages 11 to 18 yrs. Students work
on confidence, etiquette, runway, makeup,
public speaking, interviewing, posture and
body language. An excellent camp for self
esteem, life skills or beginning modeling.
Our On Camera TV, Commercial and Film
Acting camp is for all ages. We break our
camps into different age levels; 4 to 6, 7 to 10
& 11 to 17 yrs. Camp covers topics such as
commercials, cold reads, improv, scenes,
interviewing techniques, auditioning skills and
character development. All students work and
perform on camera preparing for the industry.
Our Modeling camp explores all aspects of the
industry. Camps are offered here at The Maile
School or The Mall at Millenia. Fashion camps
train in runway, confidence, professional
photoshoot, print, TV modeling, auditioning,
and all students model in our back to school
runway fashion show held at the mall.
All camps include our parenting seminar on
breaking into the industry.

Maile School acting grad Ben VanderMey landed a role on MTV’s family
drama titled Finding Carter Season 2. He played the role of Mike in an
episode titled We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together. The series follows
a girl named Carter who is reunited with her family after realizing she was
abducted as a toddler. Ben’s other modeling and acting credits include The
Breaking Point, Fantastic Four, Nothing Owed, Anti Pain Killers, and The
Bullet of Madness. He has also done work for Universal Studios Orlando,
Nike, Chanel, Saks, Infiniti and Beall’s. Congratulations to you Ben!
Professional Modeling grad Liz Keimer has kept busy since
graduating from the Maile School in 2011. She had the good fortune
to model for clients such as Michael Kors, INC. International, Calvin
Klein, Macy’s, The Mall at Millenia, Dillard’s and Stein Mart and local
fashion boutiques. Liz loves acting and finished shooting commercials
for Seasons Assisted Living in Clearwater, and Space Coast Area
Transit in Brevard County. She performs on local community stages
and just completed a run as Fiona MacLaren in Brigadoon, and she
will soon open as Cherry Jourdel in Paint Your Wagon. She credits
the Maile School for leading her in the right direction. Way to go Liz!
Dawn Helms is a lawyer who has been practicing over 23 years. She
initially attended our acting program to polish her techniques for jury
trials. What she found, however, was a love for acting. Dawn says,
“So much of what we do as lawyers is cut and dry; just the facts and
acting allows me to explore my creative side. I get to use the other
side of the brain and I’ve found that there is a big market in Central
Florida for middle- aged women like myself”. Dawn has booked
modeling shows on HSN for Jose Eber and Jay Manuel as well as
commercial work for Vigo and Universal Studios. She has also
appeared in a soon to be released music video from another local
talent and alum of The Maile School. She landed an extra in the movie
SOS MUJERES AL MAR 2, to be released this year . She hasn’t been
in the industry long, but has gotten a fair amount of auditions and callbacks. She says,
“Because of my work, I sometimes can’t take the work due to my schedule, which is a
shame because it is so much fun!” Dawn credits her study at the Maile School for preparing
her for the industry. Dawn is not only smart but beautiful inside and out!
Acting grad and Maile School instructor Linzey Armstrong IV has been
busy booking jobs. He landed work for top clients such as NASCAR
I-Drive Indoor Kart Racing, Windows Microsoft, New Surface 2, Fox
Mattress, Solo Products, and Honda to name a few. Linzey has been in
the business since he was 4 years old. His parents Jeannie and Linzey III
both who are also Maile School grads found much success in the 80’s.
They to this day continue to work constantly as well as his sister
Elizabeth and brothers Austin and Dylan. We want to congratulate Linzey
IV on the birth of his baby boy Linzey V: so the LINZEY tradition
continues. Much more success to Linzey IV and the Armstrong family.

Acting grad Tracie Turner Jackson is a married mother of two
kids, one of which she has devoted her life in making her
daughter with Cerebral Palsy as normal as possible while
perusing a career in entertainment. She holds a B.S. degree in
Criminal Justice from Bethune Cookman University and has
spent many years in law enforcement. During her duties, Tracie
received an opportunity to be an extra in the movie Passenger
57 staring Wesley Snipes. From that experience, she knew she
was destined to be a star.
Tracie gave a dynamic performance as Cinnamon on truTV's
show Uploaded with Shaquille O'Neal in which her episode
gained over 700,000 viewers. She was also in a commercial
with Tiger Woods, Georgia Lottery and a Publix industrial. She
was in a cameo on the BET Monique Show, Trumpet Awards,
WE-TV's The Braxtons, and WWE Total Divas. Her comedic
auditions landed her a starring role in the movie short
Unfortunate, The Black Godfather as Boss Lady and voice over
work on the nationally syndicated radio show The Tom Joyner
Morning Show. She has completed her first SAG feature titled
When Love Was Simple and filmed other projects such as the Netflix film Robo-Dog and an
appearance in the pop rapper Jayceon's music video called I Will Win. She finished work
on Hollywood Divas and was excited to let us know she received a callback for a major
movie.
Tracie is known for her singing ability and had the opportunity to sing for Michael
Jackson's brothers Marlon, Tito and Jackie and has opened up for acts like Blues artist,
Roy C and background vocals for American Idol’s, Melinda Doolittle. Tracie says, “My most
memorable experience was when BET’s Dr. Bobby Jones invited me to sing along with
R&B singer, Tony Terry and the great gospel singer Dottie Peoples, Vashon Mitchell, and
Tasha Cobbs”.
Tracie’s fashion sense of style gets attention especially her love of exotic eyelashes of all
styles...diamonds, feathers and more. She has modeled for numerous stores such as MAC
Cosmetics, Catherines, The American Woman, Macy's, Mall at Millenia and Michael Kors.
