One bag of feed per voucher, to be exchanged at the Shepherd’s Hut Entrance. Hatfield Park Farm covers an area of approximately 25 acres on the West side of Hatfield House. The farm shows the animals in a natural countryside setting. While walking amongst the paddocks, visitors can see donkeys, pigs, sheep, cows, goats, ponies as well as many types of ducks, chickens and geese. By taking advantage of the feeding stations, visitors can see them up close. Children can play in the sand pits, bounce around on the tractor tyres and climb up and over the wooden tractor or take a trek along the goat pass, a play challenge in the heart of the farm. The Miniature Train can be found at the top of the farm and runs between 11am - 4pm on weekends, bank holidays and school holidays, weather permitting. The train can only be accessed by purchasing a farm ticket, there is an additional charge for the train. Train Prices Adult Child/Senior 1 ride £2 £1.50 Babies (Under 16mths) 50p Rates for multiply rides are available. There are also tractor and trailer rides around the farm daily, weather permitting. Next to the Farm is Bloody Hollow, our popular play area with a 2.5m scale model of Hatfield House for children to play in, on and around, as well as a rope bridge, tree house and all of the family favourites. There is also a family picnic area just by the Bloody Hollow. Looking for a venue for a children’s birthday party? The Kid’s Cabin, an outdoor shelter, is available to hire for D.I.Y. parties at Hatfield Park Farm. Bring your own food and decorations and enjoy the Farm in your own private enclosed area in the centre of the Farm. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor space for party games. As well as your own area, you will be able to enjoy the Farm, Bloody Hollow Children’s Play Area, Goat Pass and a tractor and trailer ride. The Kid’s Cabin is available for £100 (including VAT) a day and includes up to 30 children and 10 adults, any additional adults are charged at £5 a person and children, 3-15 years are £2.50. Access to the Cabin is given from 11am to 4pm. When you adopt a breed you will receive: A certificate A fun fact sheet about your breed An invitation to a special adopter day An adult and child ticket to come and visit the Farm And a Hatfield Park Farm Badge Adopter Days As part of the adoption package you will be invited to a special adopter day on the Farm. This will give you the opportunity to go behind the scenes at the Farm and see where your breed hangs out when they are not in the field.
