Novo Speed Alu quick action roller shutter
The quick action roller shutter Novo Speed Alu combines the advantages
of an aluminium roller shutter with those of a PVC roller door. As a fullyfunctioning external shutter with corresponding resistance to weather and
wind forces, with break in protection and good heat insulation, it opens at
a speed that is normally only achieved by PVC roller doors.
Aluminium slats, extruded,
anodized in E6/EV1, wall thickness

Construction of the shutter
Easily installable side frames consisting of galvanized steel sheet painted
to order (can be delivered in stainless steel for the food sector). The drive
is provided by a drive motor that is connected directly to the winding shaft.
Sidetensionspringsintegratedintotheframesupportthedrivemotorand
at the same time ensure that the weight of the shutter is balanced.
Sight and ventilation slats can
be incorporated at any time.
Shutter reinforcement
Extruded aluminium slats, left and right fitted with sliding pieces. Between
the individual slats a specially designed rubber profile is inserted for sound
absorbing purposes. The additionally integrated side tension springs keep
the shutter slats under tension in the guide rails. In this way the normally
loud operational noises are reduced considerably.
Control
The control with frequency converter permits
smooth and rapid duty operation in both top and
end positions. According to the requirements on
the shutter the frequency converter permits the
opening and closing speeds to be programmed.
Control can be easily extended (e.g. for locks
and traffic light control or for connection to instal­
lations and controls provided by the customer on
site). Operational or error messages are displayed
on a plain text unit on the control box.
Manual operation
In case of power failure, the door can be opened with an emergency hand
crank (approx. 300 mm long). On request: emergency release activated
with the Bowden cable on the inside.

The new Novo Speed Flex PVC high speed rolling door is highly flexible in
respect of two features:
• universal applicability including, the food industry, transport equipment,
for logistics companies, in clean rooms, etc.
• innovative technical concept resulting in high performance combined
with space saving installation.
In addition the door is exceptionally light, easy and quick to mount and
­especially easy to maintain.

• Installation friendly design: aluminium sliders manufactured in one piece,
thus light weight and quickly mounted. Door leaf assembly with the
unique “click system”. Many components come pre-mounted.
