16U WEST 2016 VC CHAMPIONSHIPS STAY TO PLAY POLICY INFORMATION:
Volleyball Canada is pleased to announce that the 16U West 2016 VC Championships are being held in Calgary, Alberta between
Friday, May 20th and Monday, May 23rd we will be adopting a stay and play policy in conjunction with our partner Volleyball Alberta
and the hotel contracting partner, SimpleRES by Anderson Vacations.
A Stay to Play Policy has been put in place in order to ensure the success and viability of the event. It was implemented to increase
the amount of room nights available to our participants, while assuring that everyone receives the highest quality of service during
their stay in Calgary. As a result of the Stay to Play Policy, Volleyball Canada is better able to prove our financial impact on the local
economy, which continues to be essential in acquiring regional and provincial grants for our events.
In order to be eligible to participate at this event, teams must book their accommodations through one of the 2016
Volleyball Canada and Volleyball Alberta Host Hotel Properties.
Reservations can be made through contacting any of the Host Hotel Properties we have room block and reservation
instructions set up with. These are included below. Please contact the properties directly to set up your reservations in the
volleyball blocks for each weekend.
A team may have registered for the event once registration opened, however their entry will only be finalized once Volleyball Canada
has received proof that their accommodations were booked through our Calgary Host Hotel or they have been approved for an
exemption.
