Jaimie joined the team on September 15, 2014. Jaimie received her Bachelor’s Degree from California State University of Los Angeles in 2010 in Psychology. In 2011, she began working as a Student Worker for the Human Resources Department of Public Works-Los Angeles County. She then interned for a year in the HR Department at McKenna Motors Inc., while continuing her schooling. In 2013 she obtained her Master’s Degree in Industrial Organizational Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She then began working for Montebello Unified School District as a Human Resources Specialist, and now continues her career here at PUSD as the newest HR Analyst. Classified Employee of the Year (CSEY) The nomination period for the Pasadena Unified School District 2015 Classified Employee of the Year (CSEY) Program is now open through Friday, February 20th. Nominations will be accepted in the following categories: Child Nutrition Maintenance & Operations Office/Technical Para-Educator/Instructional Assistance Support Services and Security Transportation Eligibility for the 2015 Classified School Employee of the Year Program is limited to candidates who meet the following minimum criteria: Current classified employee of PUSD Minimum of five years of service in the nomination category Supervisory or Management employees are not eligible Completed nomination packets are due in the Personnel Commission by 3:30 p.m. Friday, February 20th. Applications are available online, in the Personnel Commission Office and at school sites. Incomplete packets will not be considered. Nominee recommendations must focus on three areas: Work performance School community involvement Leadership Online Personnel Requisition Personnel Commission has been working to introduce an online Personnel Requisition which would eliminate the need of paper requisitions. All required approvals would be done online, and the requisitions would never get lost. The system would allow us to track where the requisition is pending. This system would help all parties expedite the process and make the process paperless! Until the substantive appointment, Dr. McDonald was the interim Superintendent, and before that, the Deputy Superintendent and Chief Academic Officer. Congratulations!
