Installation Instructions - Vu Ryte Model VUR 18DC and VUR14DC
Let’s begin by describing the components to your Vu Ryte
Model VUR 18DC or Model VUR 14DC.
Additional Contents:
Plastic Bag Containing: 4 Rubber Bumpers;
2 Micro Suction Stabilizers; 2 Easel Screws with Nuts
Also: Line Guide Tracer
Note: The Clip attached on the bottom lip will
slide horizontally to any position on the easel.
If clip detaches, it may be reattached by placing
the clip groove over the easel lip and “snapping”
or “rolling” it on.
Let’s Get Started... This Won’t Be Difficult...we promise!!
A. Let’s begin by turning the “Base” over and applying the 4 Rubber
Bumpers to the bottom side of Base walls. We recommend that you
attach them at the identified location. See “Step A”. It is very
important that these bumpers rest on the work surface.
B. Place 2 rubber bumpers on the two front legs as shown. Take one of
the Vu Ryte Micro Suction Stabilizers (MSS), remove the white
backing and position on the inside portion on the leg about one half
inch from the back of the leg. Repeat for the other leg. Gently
remove the clear protective film from both “MSS.” The MSS bonds
to clean flat surfaces using thousands of microscopic vacuums. It is
designed to not leave a residue. It is NOT an adhesive as used by
others!!! Position your VUR DC on desktop and apply slight pressure
to the legs – BINGO!!! To move or reposition your DC, simply pick
up your VUR DC and twist. Reposition!!! Bingo Again!!! If needed,
use a wet tissue to clean the “MSS”. After cleaning, the “MSS” must
dry before it regains its suction capabilities.

C. Taking the Easel, you will note the Vertical Adjustment Slots in the
Easel. Line up with slots with the holes in Face of the Base. Insert
screws through the front of the Base and through the Face of the
base. Tighten screws from back side of Easel. See “Step B.” This
would also be a good time to slide the clip to the desired location.

D. Note the Angle Adjustment Screws... by loosening and tightening
them you can adjust the angle of the Easel... Pretty cool,huh?? If
desired, this might be a good time to readjust the height of the Easel.
Step D
E. Place slot in LINE GUIDE TRACER over the protruding portion of the LINEGUIDE SLIDE. As you press down, you
will hear a “notching” sound. This allows you to maintain a straight line for different depths of documents. To move
TRACER, grip end and slide up or down.
