Santa Fe Stonework - Golden Quilt Company
Class-specific pattern ($10) Students should bring a variety of PRE-WASHED fabrics in complimentary colors. Fabric swatches should be NO LESS than 6-inches square. We will be trimming all of the fabrics down to a specific size and shape, so the swatches brought to class do NOT have to be precisely cut. The project requires 15 fabric squares. ONE ‘dark’ square for center Four ‘light’ squares: Santa Fe Stonework Precision Machine Piecing 18” finished block This is a project class for learning precision machine quilting on a home sewing machine. Each student must purchase my exclusive pattern ($10) designed specifically for this class. Students will learn how to get accurate results by following my simple guidelines for fabric preparation and precision cutting. Students supply their own fabrics. Please have machines in clean, working order with a fresh needle installed. Students should be able to complete one 18-inch block in this full-day workshop. Students may choose their own color scheme!
