One-Day Workshops
MNI presents a variety of one-day workshops annually. Focusing on a wide variety of topics, MNA members
can gain new skills from industry experts in a casual classroom setting. Recent sessions covered a wide range
of topics including circulation, management, advertising sales, technology, editorial writing and reporting,
newspaper design, social media and more.
Editors & Publishers Community Leadership Program
This intensive months-long program works with newspaper editor-publisher pairs to develop community
leadership and vision skills. The program encourages newspapers to develop and strengthen social capital within
their communities, to learn of the power they have to frame issues and mobilize action and ultimately helps them
to advance the health and vibrancy of their communities.
Online Media Campus Webinar Series
In partnership with the Online Media Campus, MNI presents affordable webinars on an assortment of subjects
ranging from newspaper design to sales and marketing, editorial skills and technology-centered training.
