Make Your Special Day Historic
A GUIDE TO CELEBRATIONS AT BOOTHBAY RAILWAY VILLAGE
A Venue For Those Who
Want A Timeless Backdrop To
Their Celebration
Weddings, family reunions, anniversary parties, and other
special days can be celebrated on the grounds of the
Boothbay Railway Village. Located just minutes from all
the amenities of Boothbay Harbor, including a wide variety
of lodging options, excellent restaurants, and shopping,
along with outstanding recreation opportunities for your
guests.
The Spruce Point
Chapel
The charming Spruce Point Chapel is
the perfect place to exchange vows
and start a new life together. Its
simply elegant chandeliers and warm
wood details surround you and your
guests with a feeling that time has
stopped.
The Town Hall
Our 1847 Town Hall, with classic
Greek Revival architectural details
including a gorgeous arched plaster
ceiling, can host elegant soirees to
casual lobster bakes.
The Village Green
The large, green expanse of the
Village Green can be tented to host
events with guest lists larger than
most any other site on the Boothbay
Peninsula, and the Museum now has
ample parking to match. The Green
can also be utilized for outdoor
ceremonies and wedding portraits.
Vintage
Transportation
For events both on our grounds and
elsewhere in the region, the Museum can
also help you make a truly magnificent
entrance. Imagine walking out of the
front of your church to climb inside a
classic 1962 Rolls Royce Silver Cloud II,
to be whisked away to your reception
site in ultimate style!
Caboose Birthday
Parties
Make your child’s birthday a memorable
trip back in time. The Museum offers its
restored Sandy River & Rangeley Lakes
Caboose for your exclusive use. We’ll
park the Caboose near our shady picnic
area for you to enjoy cake, presents and
other birthday traditions before
“hooking on” and taking your group on
a train ride aboard the Caboose.
Your Best Friends
Are Welcome Here
Your dogs will love the wide expanse
of lawn available here. You are
welcome to include your best friends
in your special day as long as you
clean up after them.
