Some 10 years later, he unsuccessfully tries to eliminate Barts but in the process makes the acquaintance of Henry Sturgess who teaches him how to fight and what is required to kill a vampire. The quid pro quo is that Abe will kill only those vampires that Henry directs him to. Abe relocates to Springfield where he gets a job as a store clerk while he studies the law and kills vampires by night. He also meets and eventually marries the pretty Mary Todd. Many years later as President of the United States, he comes to realize that vampires are fighting with the Confederate forces. As a result he mounts his own campaign to defeat them. Sakharine has bribed the crew to revolt against the ship's master, drunken Captain Haddock, but Tintin, Snowy and Haddock escape, arriving in Morocco at the court of a sheikh, who also has a model of the Unicorn. Haddock tells Tintin that over three hundred years earlier his ancestor Sir Francis Haddock was forced to scuttle the original Unicorn when attacked by a piratical forebear of Sakharine but he managed to save his treasure and provide clues to its location in three separate scrolls, all of which were secreted in models of the Unicorn. Tintin and Sakharine... He learned to fix clocks and other gadgets from his father and uncle which he puts to use keeping the train station clocks running. The only thing that he has left that connects him to his dead father is an automaton (mechanical man) that doesn't work without a special key which Hugo needs to find to unlock the secret he believes it contains. On his adventures, he meets with a shopkeeper, George Melies, who works in the train station and his adventure-seeking god-daughter. Hugo finds that they have a surprising connection to his father and the automaton, and he discovers it unlocks some memories the old man has buried inside regarding his past. Customers receiving media (35mm print, vhS, DvD, or other) cannot cancel once the media ships. the movie and its entire media are exclusive property of the studios represented by Criterion PiCtUreS USA. the customer is responsible for the care, condition and protection of the media while in the customer’s possession. All media is examined before and after the screen date. if all or parts of the media are lost, stolen, damaged in transit or otherwise; or not returned to Criterion PiCtUreS USA, the customer is liable for full replacement cost and lost licensing fees. the customer shall make all reasonable efforts to recover any lost or stolen media. the customer shall immediately notify Criterion PiCtUreS USA. of the damage, loss or theft of the media. if Criterion PiCtUreS USA. deems the damage significant and substantial, the customer is responsible for paying the following charges: $5,000 for 35mm prints; $100 for vhS or DvD. fees in excess of this amount may apply. if media is sent from Criterion PiCtUreS USA, customers must arrange and pay for its return shipping only by UPS or fedex on the day after the last screening. All shipments must be insured for the maximum amount allowed of $1,000 per 35mm print can and $100 per vhS or DvD. Shipping waybill and insurance documents must be retained so the customer can initiate tracing of return shipments should the need arise. Media not returned to Criterion PiCtUreS USA. within seven business days after the last screen date will be considered lost and the lost media fee as noted above will apply. Payment is due in advance of the first screen date; or 30 days from the date of the invoice with a purchase order, though the purchase order number must be listed on the reverse side of the invoice. Criterion PiCtUreS USA. accepts check, money order, and all major credit cards. if paying with check or money order, please mail payments to Criterion PiCtUreS USA. at the address shown on the reverse side of the invoice. the customer number and invoice number(s) should appear on all payments to ensure proper allocation.
