Stress relief at every turn
When installing the STAUF Comfort Pad, a natural bond
between floor and sub floor construction is created.
The combination of cork and rubber granulates reduces
walking noise to an agreeable level, favours the safety
and load bearing qualities of the floor. It adds to the floor’s
longevity.
The elasticity of STAUF’s Comfort Pad, its heat insulation
properties, result in a sensibly higher walking comfort of
your floor.
Elastic creepers
The cork-rubber granulates in the STAUF Comfort Pad
transmit their elasticity to the floor. The result is a subjective
sound reduction of about 75%, due a decrease of sound
levels of up to 21dB.
The STAUF Comfort Pad consists of cork and rubber granulates and is available in different thicknesses from 2 mm up
to 5 mm. It is suitable for all kind of established sub floors
as well as various textile and elastic floorings and wood
floorings.

Cutting and installation of the STAUF Comfort Pad are
easy to manage. The underlay application ensures an even
surface for a better bonding. It simplifies the subsequent
worksteps. The STAUF Comfort Pad is also suitable in
combination with sub floor heating systems.
Naturally gentle
The STAUF Comfort Pad is EMICODE EC1 certified
„very low emission“. The material is breathable and 100%
recyclable.

Suitable sub floors
Spare the sub floor construction
A changing room climate influences the moisture content
in wooden floors. This results in dimensional changes,
hence tension built-up in the floor panels.
STAUF’s Comfort Pad, due to its elastic properties, is the
ideal tension regulator between floor and sub floor construction.
