Place the Antonym Match game board between players. 2. Cover all antonyms on the Antonym Match game board with game markers. 3. Player A uncovers two spaces and states if it is an antonym match (for example: new and ancient would be a match). 4. Player B checks the answer key. 5. If an antonym match is revealed, the player takes the two markers and takes another turn. If a match is not revealed, it is the other player’s turn. 6. Play continues until all game markers are removed. Reminder An antonym is a word that means the opposite of another word.
