FAVORITE CAMPOUT
RECIPES
JIM’S SPAGHETTI SAUCE
1 lb. hamburger
1 small onion, chopped
1 29 ounce can tomato sauce
1 15 ounce can tomato sauce
2 6 ounce cans tomato paste
2 tablespoons of seasoning mix
salt and pepper to taste
Pinch of brown sugar
1 15 ounce can of water (wash out the tomato sauce can)
1 can mushrooms (optional)
In a large pot, brown the meat and onions together until meat is brown. Drain off excess grease. Add all the other ingredients and stir well. Let this cook on medium-low heat for about 2 hours.
JIM’S “SPICE ISLAND” SPAGHETTI SAUCE
SEASONING MIX
3 ½ teaspoons salt
4 teaspoons sugar
1 teaspoon summer savory
1 ½ teaspoons rosemary
1 ½ teaspoons ground black pepper
4 ¼ teaspoons onion powder
1 ½ teaspoons ground marjoram
2 ½ teaspoons garlic powder
½ teaspoon ground cloves
4 teaspoons ground basil

PANTRY’S CHICKEN SPAGHETTI
1 large onion, diced
5 stalks celery, diced
2 bell peppers, diced
1 ½ cups chicken broth
3 cans mushroom soup
½ cup milk
Lawry’s seasoning salt
White pepper
Granulated garlic
3 cups grated cheddar cheese
3 cups cooked chicken, diced
1 pound cooked spaghetti
1 small jar pimentos
In a large pot cook onion, celery, bell peppers, and chicken broth until vegetables are tender (about 20-25 minutes).
Stir in mushroom soup and milk. Season with salt, pepper and garlic to taste. When mixture is hot, stir in 2 cups of grated
cheese until melted. Gently stir in cooked chicken and spaghetti and pimentos. Toss until well mixed. Garnish with additional cheese.

Vivian’s Crab Meat Salad
Several wanted the receipt for this:
1 - 12oz package Vermicelli - Break into small pieces and cook
as directed on package
1/4 Cup Lemon Juice
1/2 Cup oil
1 - Tbsp. accent
1 - Tbsp. Season Salt
Marinate this overnight.
Next Day Add:
1 - Cup Hellmans Mayonnaise
1 - Med. chopped onion
1 - Cup chopped green peppers
1 - 4oz jar pimentos
1 - small can sliced black olives
2 - Small cans Crab meat, drained and flaked
Mix Well and enjoy!
