Stations ensure your team will learn the many elements of this sport in a fun and productive way. STUNT SPECIFIC STATIONS Your team’s success is our focus! This year we are offering stunt specific stations which will allow each team and stunt group the opportunity to learn at their own pace and accomplish new skills at their level. We believe that purposeful learning is accomplished when hard work is acknowledged. We love recognizing those teams who give extra effort at each station. EVALUATIONS 7 Not only does this provide fundamental learning, it’s also a great way to chart your team’s progress in all areas of cheer! THE CORE A Two-Day Camp focusing on the IT’S BACK!!! of our sport.... STUNTS, TUMBLING Our 2-day specialt y camp has returned in full-force and we’re thrilled! Focusing AND on the core of this sport will bring a new intensit y to your team and enable you to coach them to a higher level! At this CONDITIONING! camp teams will rotate through each segment providing plent y of attention to detail and expert tips. We also incorporate seminars that will help increase mental toughness and preparedness. This will provide a break in the action while teaching necessar y tools for a “don’t give up” mentalit y! Plus, an opportunit y for evaluation on timing and technique of stunts and tumbling! As always, we’ll throw in a little fun to make camp a memorable experience! Detailed below are the many reasons we are set apart from the rest... Pride We enter into our 26th year of incorporating a special program that allows us to touch on significant issues kids are facing today. We share this time with “Pride” - a National Champion group of high school students who take a strong stand against substance abuse, bullying, violence and more; communicating their message through music and skits. A time when the focus is just YOUR TEAM! You will also spend time with another team while at camp… your “Buddy Team.” This will allow you the opportunity to get “up close and personal” with other athletes in our sport. On the last night of camp our staff shares inspirational stories and real-life experiences in a way that will help you and your team put everything in PERSPECTIVE. It allows all of us A M ANDA ISENGA, H U D S O N V I L L E VA R S I T Y to see the big picture as we grow through the challenges and experiences of life. Ending with a “Promise Circle”, each team leaves feeling closer to their coach and teammates and empowered for the season ahead! Cheerlympics We’re not all work and no play…Your team will “compete” in various “Cheerlympic Games” for recognition at the medal ceremony! Gold, Silver, Bronze or just the plain fun of teamwork makes this a favorite of Champion teams! 9 Spirit Day Parade There’s nothing like School Spirit and as cheerleaders you set the tone! We believe camp is the best place to explore your capacity to bring this excitement to your school and community! You’ll love the FUN of the Spirit Day Parade! Give back PROGRAM Leadership is an essential part of cheerleading and is demonstrated not only in our schools but communities as well. A great leader must be able to take their eyes off themselves in order to see the needs of others. We believe that teaching young people the importance of this is vital to our future. Therefore, each year we incorporate a program which allows them to impact the lives of others through service. Utilizing this sport to make a difference is one of the best parts of camp! In 2015 we joined forces with “GANG UP FOR GOOD” and painted our pinkies blue to help stomp out bullying. We appreciate the feedback from many of our teams who took this campaign back to their school to help fight this damaging behavior. We look forward to working with our teams this year for “TROOPS NEED LOVE TOO”. BEST CA MP EXPERIENCE I’VE HAD AS A H I G H SCH O O L COACH!
