President’s Message

If you missed ETI’s Annual 3-day Convention and Horse Show this year, shame on you…you missed a great time.
The official numbers aren’t calculated yet, but it looks like we had approximately 260 riders.
Convention was not only the three days held at the Los Angeles Equestrian Center in Burbank, but it also included
a Gymkhana State Finals and National Invitational Trail Trials both held on different days at different venues.
I was very fortunate to attend all three events and witnessed people having a great time and some very good
horsemanship. The competition was tough, the judges fair and some of the competitors even helped other competitors. This is what
ETI is all about.
It is amazing to think just how many volunteers were needed to run each event.
As President of ETI, I know firsthand the importance of someone willing to give for this organization. I want to thank the over 100
members and friends who volunteered countless hours to make Convention, The State Finals and the National Invitational as successful
and fun as they were.
And I cannot give enough thanks to each person who either chaired a National event or a portion of Convention as they each put in even
more countless hours behind the scenes and attending convention numerous planning meetings. These folks are truly responsible for the
success of Convention, Invitational and Gymkhana.
Special kudos to Michelle Kraut. I was worried since this was the first convention in 14 years that our retired office manager, Debbie
Foster, would miss. But Michelle, who is our new office manager, stepped up and was wonderful.
I would also like to thank Traci Bolderof and Corral 21 who put on the Gymkhana State Final at Gibson Ranch in Shadow Hills. I would
also like to recognize and thank Dale Gibson who opened his facility for this event.
Thanks to Jeanne Gonzalez, ETI 2nd V.P,. and to Corral 12 who put on the National Invitational Trail Trials in Sylmar.
Thank you to Jean Chadsey who organized our MAUs and provided overnight security for each night of Convention.
I want to thank the Western Dressage Association of America who used Convention
as one of their high point shows. They also sponsored a “Versatility Award” that was
awarded to the rider with the highest combination score from a Western Dressage class
and a Western rail class.
For the first time in a long time, I even got the chance to compete at convention. I rode
in Western Dressage and Western Rail classes. I had a blast.
And finally, a huge thanks to all the judges and participants who came to either of our
events. If you had just half the fun I had, then it was a success!

Mounted Assistance Unit (MAU) Program Update
It has been a very busy June for
the MAU’s. The re-certification
process has gone very well…
the next re-certification will be
September 19 at Bonelli Park’s
East Arena.
In the interim,
there are several trainings at the
individual MAU’s.

Walnut Creek and Bonelli MAU members participated
in the CMOA (California Mounted Officers Association)
Memorial Trail Trial in Norco, on June 6. The members
received individual awards of 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 5th
place. The MAU team of civilian volunteers received
3rd place…well done team.
There are five MAU’s which patrol the LA Parks on
horseback, if you are interested in joining, the contact

year. We would like to thank our stand by volunteers
Billy & Hunter Nickle and Mo Davis (Bonelli MAU).
There were some eventful happenings, yet handled
with ease by these experienced volunteers.
Some trail suggestions this hot summer season: Walnut
Creek, where you will be shaded and crossing several
streams along the way, Bonelli’s East Shore, along the
lake and Marshall Canyon’s south side referred to as
Sherwood Forest. All are shaded and cool for these
next several months.
The MAU’s have been checking some LA Park trails that

SPECIAL OLYMPICS
Please read the Equestrian Special
Olympics info below. It will be held
at the LAEC.
It is important to the contestants, who
will have traveled from all over the
world, to have people in the stands
to cheer them on. Look to your local
handicapped rider programs, Senior
Citizens groups, and of course all our
other equestrian groups. It is free
to the public, and there are special
seating areas for volunteers to sit and
join with their friends to encourage
and participate in these events.
Many of the rider programs have vans
to transport people, as do the Senior
Citizen groups.
Invite everyone!
Also, I can arrange for special seating
for any of your groups.
Saturday is the very last day of the
Special Olympics Eq. events.

CORRAL 3 JOINT ETI/MAU PARTICIPATION IN ‘All
About Horses’ Memorial Ride proposed
Members of Walnut Creek MAU and ETI Corral 3 will be
submitting a memorial ride proposal to LA County Parks &
Recreation for an October 10 event. It will include a showcase
of horse breeds, a memorial ride, and sensory challenges on
the trail for those wishing to participate during the ride. Park
guests will be given an opportunity to vote on their favorite
entry, in various categories. Food and beverages will be
provided by a Bonelli Park support foundation group.
The event will be staged in the West Picnic Valley area of
Bonelli Park. LACO Parks-&-Recreation has offered its public
relations resources for such joint events. It will include
both conventional and social media for community outreach
events. Details are being finalized, and the proposal will be
submitted to Parks officials for their approval by mid-July.
ETI Corral 3 2nd Annual ARENA CHALLENGE On Track
For November 7
Planning continues for the November 7 arena challenge, to
be held in the East arena of Bonelli Park. It will be hard to
beat last year’s Alpaca surprise, so keep this date open even
if it’s just to watch! Event participation registration will be
noted in the flyer included as a part of this August issue
(page 16).
Don’t wait too long – last year’s event was a huge success,
and you’re being given fair warning...

CROSSINGS, WARNING – TRAIL HAZARDS
The Walnut Creek trail is in very good condition. Water
levels are fairly low, staging areas are clean, and the Reeder
arena is being well maintained. As a wilderness area, natural
challenges can occur. Should anyone notice difficulties or
tricky areas, please advise Cindi or Charlie Hawkins. With

to keep the trails policed, picking up trash and containers
and throwing them into the designated waste barrels. They
definitely deserve our appreciation. ETI Corral 3 will be
surprising them with rewards for their efforts (with various
gift cards) when they’re seen on the trails.
ABOUT CORRAL 3
As MAU members, we’re happy to see a noticeable
improvement when patrolling the trails in Walnut Creek.
Corral 3 is primarily made up of Walnut Creek MAU volunteers
as well as area riders. Our emphasis is always to help Walnut
Creek become a more desirable family venue, and cleaning
up the area will also have a greater positive impact for the
homes neighboring Walnut Creek.

Our Ice Cream Social will be at 6:30 on Tuesday, August 11,
at the Placerita Canyon ranch of the Coleman/Tonai family.
We’ll be camping at Montana de Oro near Morro Bay from
August 17 through 24. We got Sage, which has only 4
corrals, so corrals will be assigned by Corral 12. Excess
beasties can be tied to trailers or tie lines or portable corrals
… space permitting. There are other first come/first served
corrals nearby which if empty can be grabbed if you want to
pay for them.
Tuesday, September 8, 7:30pm will be Patty’s Patio Party …
and regular Corral 12 meeting.
This group meets twice a year and clears ground, constructs
and dedicates a monument representing a point in history that
would otherwise be forgotten. On this particular weekend
about 650 members camped at Mr. Grabriel’s Wagon Train
Ranch. This was a hot May weekend in the desert, but did
that stop them from having a great time? Not at all! Mr.
Gabriel invited whomever wanted to come and bring a team
and wagon with the idea of doing some local wagon driving
on very nice dirt roads and then be present during the
dedication ceremony on Sunday. Those of us from Corral
14 who attended, Larry Jacobs and Margie Macke, Norm
Noftsier and Mary Jo Steele, Ron Remy and Sue and Kevin
Martzolf enjoyed a new experience and learned a little about
our pioneer history and E Clampus Vitas. I would like to say
thank you to this great group for all the good they do and
showing one another how to leave everyday troubles behind
them and have a great time. They are an inspiration.
October’s trail ride will be Saturday, October 17, at Vasquez
Rocks.

It is always refreshing to me to realize there are so many
interesting things happening around us. Once in a while, if I
open my awareness, I discover something new and exciting
which always makes me feel good. Such was the weekend
we spent in Phelan at the ranch owned by Harold Gabriel. Mr.
Gabriel invited our Corral to participate in the dedication of
a monument to the pioneer wagon trail that passes through
his property. It is called the Sanford Cutoff, and it connects
with both the Old Spanish Trail and the Mormon Trail at
Cajon Pass. I have often stopped and read a marker such as
this one at a roadside spot. At the bottom, the monument
reads “Dedicated by E Clampus Vitus”. I thought this an odd
name and wondered who the heck this guy was. Well, kind
reader, I have now spent three days with the Billy
Holcomb Chapter of E Clampus Vitus, and I can

Hope everyone had a wonderful Fourth of July. Darlene
McGrady and Julie Sandona participated in La Verne’s Fourth
of July parade. It was very patriotic and well attended along
with over 300 participants in the parade. Unfortunately,
someone had to toss a firecracker at our horses, but thanks
to all our training, everything went well.
Recertification is going well. Mick McGrady is working with
Bonelli, Walnut Creek and Whittier Narrows to get through
the process to recertify all MAU members.
Marshall Canyon MAU is actively looking for new members.
We train at the Fred Palmer Equestrian Center in Marshall
Canyon, plus we have many beautiful, tree-covered trails to

Our much-anticipated camping trip to Montana de Oro is
coming up at the end of this month. There are about 16 of
us going, and I am counting down the days. If you’ve never
been to this amazing state park, you need to check it out!
Close to Morro Bay and San Luis Obispo, there is much to do
in the area if you need a break from horseback riding.
In recent Corral 20 news, we had a very successful trail cleanup day in an area adjacent to Hansen Dam recreation area
and the Angeles National Golf Course (Lake View Terrace/
Shadow Hills/Sunland). We dragged up over a dozen grocery
carts, and filled four pickup truck beds with trash! Sadly, this
haul barely made a dent in all the trash that accumulates in
that area. It’s an ongoing need! Thankfully, another group
did a clean-up a couple of weeks after us, and coordinated
with the council office to have a city trash truck come and
pick up trash. With amazing volunteers and a little hard
work, we can win the battle of the litter!

Star of the Month
Some kids stand out for their kindness, great attitude and
gentle nature. These are the traits that we have noticed in
our new corral member Raquel. Raquel started showing in
our Gymkhana’s this year with her horse Fred and the team
have already moved up a division, and heading towards the
chance to win a saddle as part of our high point competition.
Raquel comes ready to ride and looking her best in an
awesome western shirt which makes the other riders take
notice. In addition to riding western, Raquel and Fred, also
like to show in English classes, making them a well-rounded
pair.
Not only is Raquel a class A rider, she is, also, a very smart
lady. Last year, she won a competition for being
able to recite the entire Gettysburg address, which

landed her a trip to New Jersey where she was able to
represent her school. When she’s not busy reciting important
historical eulogies, you might find her on stage as Raquel
really enjoys performing with her friends in school plays.
Raquel’s summer plans include, working with Fred, traveling
to Europe, going to the movies with her dad, where she
hopes to be watching Anime and Sci-Fi, which are her
favorite genres. Outside of the riding arena, her favorite
sport is basketball.
Corral 21 has really enjoyed getting to know Raquel and we
look forward to getting to know her even better.

Corral 21 Represent ETI in the Newhall Fourth of July
Parade
For the last several years, ETI has been represented by
Corral 21 in the Newhall Fourth of July Parade. This year
was no exception as we came out with fourteen riders. The
majority of our riders were under the age of 16, but we had
a few adult riders come out, too.
There is a lot of work that goes into showing in a parade.
Decorations have to be purchased, horses have to be washed
and partially decorated the night before, and the day of the
show riders had to at the ranch by 5:30am to load their
horses. With only one hour to finish decorating and tacking
up their horses, everyone must run around and try to get
done as soon as possible. Even though the parade started
at 9am, the judging was a 7:30! Luckily, with the help of
the extra people that came to ride in the trucks and walk the
route, everyone was able to get done in time and, man, did
everyone look great!

excited to see the horses and the people riding them.
Back at the ranch, while the horses were taken care of
and returned to their stalls, the smiles and great stories
continued, making it a very successful day. To make the
day even better, we found out we won First place in Grand
Equestrian and First in the Mounted (Novelty) Group, which
means we will get some nice new trophy’s to show off.
However, nothing beats the award of all the smiling faces we
passed on the parade route…That was the best prize of all.

hauling company to haul our horses to and from Hart Park.

In memory of my beloved Mother in Law, a term you don’t
hear often, I am dedicating this article to her insistent
adherence to proper etiquette. She was the source of my
introduction to the “correct way to do things”. I learned the
right way to set a table, pour at tea parties, when to wear
a hat, and how to behave at dress up occasions. She did
a spectacular job of raising two sons and, along with her
devoted husband, set an example of gracious living. The
Hilliard’s had a loving relationship and a mutual respect for
each other. One of the important lessons that I learned from
her was the importance of writing “thank you notes”. They
say that opposites attract, and I take nothing away from
my parents, as the lessons that I learned from them are
also priceless. The combination of the two different cultures
has made for a wonderful family of amazing diversity and
talents. One family entered by way of Plymouth Rock and
one through Ellis Island. Both families united by love. Keith
and I celebrated our 60 years of marriage on July 9 this year.
My first “Thank you note” is to all of the unselfish volunteers
and ETI members that put on our National Convention and
Horseshow in June. Thank you for your time, effort, and
sweat. Thank you for “putting service above self”.
Thank you to the folks who took the time and gave of their
talents to the Convention Contests. Thank you to those
who helped us select ribbon winners when Keith and I were
stymied, due to the excellence of the entries. Thank you
for participating in the contests and for being such great
contestants and good sports.
Thank you, Gail Bohlander, for giving me a ride in your
buggy and for the driving lesson. I had never done that
before, and I loved it!
Thank you to all of the friends that we have made through
the years for taking the time to say hello, and visit. Your
friendship is so appreciated and warms our hearts.

for their unselfish contribution of time and energy to Corral

Mark your calendars for Sunday, September 13, which is our
next date for Corral 38’s High Point Horse Show. There is
no Rain date. The judge for our September show is Sheri
Odum.
Registration desk will be open at 7am; show to start at
7:30am.
In this show, we will kick off with Showmanship
classes followed by Lead line. Then Western classes

in the morning in the Main Arena. English and Jumping
classes will be held in the afternoon. To avoid confusion
or miss a class, exhibitors should check the progress of the
Western Classes the day of the show. The contact phone

To speed up the running of the classes, Corral 38 is limiting
the tack change time to one minute. Entrants requesting a
tack change will need to have the tack at the ring, rather
than taking the horse back to the trailer. When we have
very large classes, we’ll bring in the next class to line up
while the last of the judging of the current class is taking
place center ring. Hopefully this will give greater efficiency
to both the riders and the running of the show itself. For

Corral 38 prides itself on running an organized show, with
excellent judges, neat ribbons and awards and homemade

NEWS OF THE PARK
The issue of permitting street and flower vendors in LA City
Parks has been overturned. There was a long period of
time where, while not exactly legal, vendors continued to do
business in the Park and were not prosecuted. Historically,
vending was illegal in public parks and on public beaches,
however during a prior Mayor’s term, these protections were
removed.
Now due to public outcry, and also to action taken by LA
City Council, measures protecting parks and beaches were
reinstated. The street vending issue is still undergoing
debate.
When enforcement will begin to cite and prevent vending
in parks and beaches has yet to be announced. I am told
that the new Ordinance protecting parks and beaches needs
to be ratified by the City Council. It is expected that this
Ordinance will go into effect in a month or so.
on the surrounding area. A pump station, approximately 61
feet by 25 feet, will be located at the foot of the Fern Canyon
Trail.
The water tank will be constructed adjacent to the old 114
tank site. The existing 114 tank will be demolished. The
new tank will have an estimated diameter of 84 feet, and be
32 feet high.
Drilling and trenching will begin in September, 2015, to be
finished by February 2017. The whole project, including
landscaping should be complete by August, 2017.
There is a hiking and equestrian trail below the construction
site, but no trail directly crossing the site. Hopefully, there
will be a minimal impact on adjacent hiking and equestrian
trails.

A new 1 million gallon water tank is to be built in Griffith
Park called the South Water Recycling project. The purpose
of this tank is to extend the existing recycled water system
on the south side of the Park to increase recycled water
supply and offset the demand of potable water in Central
Los Angeles.
The pipeline to be installed is a new 12 inch diameter pipe. It
will be installed by both trenching and underground drilling
with a drilling rig. This will have minimal impact

ETI Corral 65 will have our first special topic speaker at the
August 19 General Membership meeting. Back Country
Horsemen of California Kern Sierra Unit Education Director,
Tammy Bozarth, will be providing instruction on “Leave
No Trace Ethics” ... she will be providing handouts on the
topic and answering membership questions following the
presentation.
“Larry and Helen Ordway attended National Convention as
hosts for the Western Arena and as general volunteers, not
to mention avid observers. The Western Arena is home to
the trail obstacle with 5-6 classes each day. The obstacle
course has an open time schedule in that a rider comes
to the arena when they can fit in the class. The rider
identifies the class they are signed up for, and the judge
evaluates their performance based on the class pattern.
The actual obstacle doesn’t change but the pattern changes
based on class complexity. It is certainly a class in how to
utilize obstacles for a variety of skill sets, from leadline to
experienced open levels.
An important aspect of the arena is also educating young
or new participants about arena etiquette and expectations.
We worked with entrants to utilize entering and exiting
techniques such as visual judge acknowledgement so they
could receive the judge’s focused attention to get the best
scoring possible.

When there is down time, there is an opportunity to watch
other arena activities to stimulate expanding your horse
horizons (there could be as many as four arenas active
at one time). Watching is learning and often the judges
share what they look for in a quality horse or performance,
including driving classes. The time goes fast but is packed
full of good experiences.”
We had a fun ride on June 13 in the Sleepy Valley area of
Agua Dulce. 13 riders met before it got too hot. Karen was
our trail boss and guided us on good trails through the rolling
hills and “valley of the yuccas” (lots of yuccas blooming).
Following the ride, we were joined by several other Corral
members for a delicious potluck lunch with barbecued carne
asada at Heather’s ranch. Great job, ladies!

“Success Through Partnership”
This year’s theme for Convention aptly describes the
relationship between horse and rider that is essential to
excel in any equestrian endeavor. It also describes the
contribution made by all the “supporting players” - parents
and family, trainers and instructors, friends, employees, staff
and crew. True partnership includes much trust and lots of
training - on a number of levels!
We are proud of each and every one of our members who
participated at Convention! Here are just some of the
highlights:
How about our associate member, Keelie Buck, and Wildheart
Lil Miss, who won the SADDLE as the High Point Western
Division Champions! Sheila Langrock and her good gelding,
Easy to Park, were the High Point Western 19 & Over ATR
Reserve Champions! Pistol Annie, shown by member Dawn
Suprenant, took the Halter Champion title. Each of these
champion-ships required good and/or best placings in many
classes and represent a ton of work and dedication.
Not all showed their stuff IN the arena. Our own President,
Dan Mayer, for instance. He took the mic on Saturday, June
27, as the announcer for the Western classes. We have
enjoyed his vocal talent for years at our horse shows. He
seemed at home on this bigger “stage!” (This might tie in
somehow to his career as singer and musician .

Anyway, to all of our members who showed or helped out we salute you! And whether or not your performance netted
a title or award isn’t as important as showing up and doing
your best. Success doesn’t always come with a ribbon,
and often, personal triumphs are more subtle but just as
rewarding. Congratulations to all!

This drought continues. It is serious. The key word is water.
Keep your horses well hydrated and watch for signs of heat
stress. Wash your horse “military style” - wet down quickly,
scrub, and then rinse. Don’t let the hose run during this
process! Try rubbing them down with damp or wet towels
instead. Use a vacuum/blower to tackle heavy dust instead
of bathing. Sweep the barn instead of hosing down. Empty
your water buckets and tubs at the base of your trees and
shrubs. There’s lots we can do. It all adds up.

On Saturday afternoon, thirteen carriage driving competitors
arrived at the LAEC for the evening show.
Jody Cutler of Moorpark, CA, was our judge. At the end of
the Working class, she took the microphone and explained
why and how she chose the placings in that class…Very
informative for the spectators and entrants.
We had fourteen different entries which included a variety
of different types and sizes of equines from a beautiful 16.3
hand high Percheron Paint cross, down to a mini Mule. Also
included were a Half- Andalusian, a pair of small ponies, a
few American Sport horses, a miniature horse, a Quarter
horse, Appaloosa, a half Arabian, and a Spotted Draft. They
and their owners were competing for the prized Kay Smith
Perpetual trophy.
We had a total of seven classes: three Ring classes, three
Cones classes, and a Whip Accuracy class. You ask “What is
Whip Accuracy”? It is a pattern of ten cones: five cones with
white covers and five cones with red covers. The object was
to dislodge all of the balls with the fastest time.

2015 Invitational Trail Trial Results
The 2015 Invitational Trail Trial was held on Sunday, June 14,
staging at Stetson Ranch Equestrian Park in Sylmar. Competitors
rode from Stetson to Wilson Canyon and back. It was a warm
day, but thank goodness it was overcast in the morning. Just
imagine how warm it might have been if ETI hadn’t moved the
Trail Trial date up from July!
I took on chairing this event mid-May and BOY HOWDY do I
appreciate how many people helped to make it happen. You’ve
heard the phrase “It takes a village.”? Well, it took an ETI
village of very generous volunteers to make this event happen.
Thanks to my “Dream Team” of trail trial experts Jane Geyer,
Charlotte Brodie, and Kimberly Dwight for helping identify the
course and prototype the obstacles. Then, even though their
corrals had recently put on their own trail trials (and working
another one was probably the last thing they wanted to do),
Charlotte and Kimberly offered to judge the Invitational ... and
got members of their corrals to do the same. Good, experienced
judges are so important for this event. There musta been a lot
of arm twisting going on, or those people just can’t say no to
Charlotte and Kimberly. To all my judges: Diane Brewer, Deb
Mader, Jane Geyer, Stacey O’Hara, Charlotte Brodie, Sharon
Boyle, Helene Coverston, Patty Munson, Kimberly Dwight,
Roberta Olson, and Janice Thompson: ETI really needed you
to come through…you certainly did, and I’m so very greatful.
Oh, and thanks for the bottled water, Roberta, for the cooler
obstacle.
Thanks to everyone who helped with multiple pre-rides,
tailoring and weeding out and trimming obstacles until we
were satisfied with them. Thanks to those who helped flag the
course Saturday afternoon.
Thanks to Kelli Land for riding the course again Sunday morning
before the competitors to ensure our ribbons were still where
they were supposed to be.
Thanks to Kris Minzey for the pile of blue flagging ribbons you
made. Turned out we needed them. Thanks to Corral 12 for all
the flagging material I borrowed for the event.
Thanks to Bev Thornton of Spots & Dots, Etc. in Sylmar for your
generous donation of the beautifully embroidered 1st Place
Award for the Non-qualified Division. Someday I want to win
some of the cool stuff you always donate to ETI.
Patty Hug and her crew including Walt Connor, Susan Martin,
and Jim Renze took care of workers and competitors, making
sure we were hydrated and well fed. Thanks for all you did,
including before the event. Most people have no idea what goes
into preparing for events like this … and I REALLY appreciate it.
Thanks, Dave Riniker, for getting our judges into Wilson Canyon,
staying with them until the fat horse sang, and bringing them
safely back to Stetson. Thanks also to Ranger Tony Scattaglia
for his support of our event.

Thanks to ETI President Bob Foster for your great parking
coordination. Don’t know that one more rig could’ve fit in that
lower parking lot. It was a thing of beauty. Thanks also for
coordinating with the L.A. County Sheriff and Sergeant Boris
Nikolof to get permission for a few of our judges to park on
Olive View Hospital property. We met my goal of no cars
getting towed!
Thanks to my Entry crew who worked all day and tallied the
winners after the riders were all back: Becky George, Shirlee
Kurtz, Linda Deckard, and Diane Riniker. Thanks so much for
supporting and keeping me from turning into a puddle of goo.
Thanks to my honey, Gilbert, for running Poker. There were
even more hands sold than last year …GOOD JOB! But then,
you sure picked a crummy hand for me…
Thanks, Linda Fullerton, for starting our competitors on their
merry way.
On the day of the event, who should show up to help but Junior
Ambassadors Carli Bertonneau, Anita Ovayan, Sarah Webber,
and Emily Webber. Thanks for your help with food and drink
and handing out ribbons and relaying messages and everything
else you did. Just a note … last year there were only two
Juniors who competed; this year, there were SEVEN! It was
great to see them so seriously competitive! Oh, and if you saw
the look on the face of the Junior winner … it just melted my
heart. Huge congrats, Lulu!
You should have seen Jeanie Chadsey when she and Buster
finished drag riding and deflagging the course. Buster’s huge
lei of pink, orange, blue, and yellow flagging ribbons was gently
flapping in the afternoon breeze … not that Buster minded.

It has been discovered that one rider competed in Novice who
had not qualified for that division during the 2014-2015 season.
Therefore, that rider has been moved to Nonqualified, and final
placings have been adjusted from 5th in Novice and from 2nd in
Nonqualified. There are no changes to the winners of each division,
and no changes to Open or Junior divisions.

ETI Waiver and Release.
Non members must complete a
Single Event form and pay $5.00 for an
individual for the day or weekend-camping membership. $3.00 of this is to be
sent with the forms back to the ETI office. A family membership for the event
is $7.00; $5.00 goes to the ETI office.
