Welcome to this exciting collaborative venture!
Do You Want What I Have Got? A Craigslist Cantata has been a perfect collaboration
and the ideal project that blends Factory Theatre’s commitment to new Canadian work
with Acting Up Stage’s commitment to innovative and contemporary musical theatre.
We are so pleased to be able to present to Toronto audiences this poignant and witty
Canadian musical. We are so honoured that Bill, Veda and Amiel have given us the
opportunity to launch a new production featuring some of the original Vancouver
collaborators, while adding an incredible local design team, new choreography by
Monica Dottor and new cast member Daren A. Herbert.
We hope that you enjoy this work as much as we have in bringing it to you.

Acting Up Stage Company is dedicated to producing, developing and advancing the
versatile art of musical theatre in Canada. Each season we interpret contemporary
work through the lens of both our country’s most accomplished and most promising
artists, bring new musicals to life, and develop the artists and audiences of tomorrow.
Since 2005, under the leadership of Artistic Producer Mitchell Marcus, we’ve been
rewarded time and again with rave reviews, sold-out performances, six Dora Awards
and six Toronto Theatre Critics’ Awards. Staged in intimate settings and starring
Canada’s finest artists, our productions are timely, thought-provoking, and entertaining,

Today!
Back in 1970, Factory was the first
theatre in the country devoted
exclusively to producing Canadian
plays. In my humble opinion, it’s
also the one currently doing the
best job. Toronto Star
The founding of Factory Theatre in 1970 changed
the course of Canadian theatre forever. For 43
years audiences have encouraged, applauded
and supported Factory Theatre’s mandate to
develop and produce compelling Canadian
theatre and to inspire and develop theatre artists
in Canada.
