I`M A NUT I`m a little nut so brown, Lying on the cold, cold ground
I’M A NUT
I’m a little nut so brown,
Lying on the cold, cold ground.
People often step on me,
That is why I’m cracked you see.
I’m a nut - XX, I’m a nut - XX,
I’m an n-u-t-t nut,
Boom boom boom.
Called myself on the telephone,
Just to hear my golden tone.
Asked myself out for a date,
Told myself ‘bout
Half past eight.
I’m a nut…..
Gee, I miss me all the time
Wonder if I’m doing fine
Maybe I’ll stop by to see
How my life is treating me
I’m a nut…..
Coca Cola went to town
Mr. Pibb knocked him down
Dr. Pepper shook him up
Then we all drank 7-up
I’m a nut…..
Henry Ford was a grand old man
Put four wheels on an old tin can
Stuck the key in and the darn thing ran
Crank crank, boom boom, clunk clunk, bam!
I’m a nut…..
Took myself
To the movie show,
Sat myself in the very last row.
Took my hand and led me out,
Drove me home and gave a shout.
I’m a nut….
Romeo and Juliet, on a balcony they met
Juliet said, “Go away,
Shakespeare’s comin’ in a Chevrolet!”
I’m a nut……
I’m a little wild flower,
Getting wilder by the hour.
No one wants to sit by me,
I’m as wild as I can be.
I’m a nut……
I’m so nutty I don’t know
Why the squirrels love me so
I’m descended from an oak
Nuts to you and that’s no joke
I’m a nut - X X, I’m a nut - X X
I’m an N-U-T-T nut
BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM

PIRATE SONG
SUPER CALIFORNIA SURFER
When I was ONE
I sucked my thumb,
the day I went to sea.
Because I was afraid to surf
when I was just a lad,
My father took my board away
and told me I was bad (You’re bad!)
I jumped aboard
a pirate ship
And the Captain
said to me,
“Wer’e goin’
this way, that way,
forward, backward
over the Irish Sea….
A juicy plum to warm my tum,
And that’s the life for me!
ARGH!”
When I was….
TWO – tied my shoe
THREE – skinned my knee
FOUR – mopped the floor
FIVE – took a dive
SIX – picked up sticks
SEVEN – when to heaven
EIGHT – shut the gate
NINE – broke my spine
TEN – the end!
Then one day I heard a word
That every surfer knows…
The longest word you’ve ever heard
And this is how it goes….
Super-California-Surfer-Expert-On-The-Ocean
Even though most of them
Do not use sun tan lotion
When they hit the waves too hard
There’s always a commotion,
Super-California-SurferExpert-On-The-Ocean
Um diddle iddle iddle
um diddle lie,
Um diddle iddle iddle
um diddle lie,
Because I was
afraid to surf……

All the counselors hate the waiters
And the lake has alligators
And the head coach wants no sissies
So he reads to us from something called Ulysses.
Now I don't want this should scare ya
But my bunkmate has malaria
You remember Jeffrey Hardy
They're about to organize a searching party.
Take me home, oh muddah fadduh,
take me home, I hate Grenada
Don't leave me out in the forest where
I might get eaten by a bear.
Take me home, I promise I will not
make noise or mess the house with
other boys, oh please don't make me stay,
I've been here one whole day.
HELLO MUDDAH, HELLO FADDAH
Hello Muddah, Hello Fadduh,
Here I am at Camp Grenada
Camp is very entertaining
and they say we'll have some fun if it stops raining.
I went hiking with Joe Spivy
He developed poison ivy
You remember Leonard Skinner
He got ptomaine poisoning last night after dinner.
Dearest fadduh, darling muddah,
How's my precious little bruddah?
Let me come home if ya miss me
I will even let Aunt Bertha hug and kiss me.
Wait a minute, it stopped hailing,
Guys are swimming, guys are sailing,
Playing baseball, gee that's better,
Muddah Fadduh kindly disregard this letter.
GRANDMA’S FEATHER BED
When I was a little bitty boy just up off the floor
We used to go down to Grandma's house
Every month end or so
We had chicken pie, country ham,
And homemade butter on the bread
But the best darn thing about Grandma's house
Was her great big feather bed
Well I love my Ma, an' I love my Pa
Love Granny and Grandpa too
Been fishing with my uncle, I wrestled with my cousin
I even kissed Aunt Lou oooh
But if ever had to make a choice
I guess it ought to be said
That I'd trade them all plus the gal down the road
For Grandma's feather bed
It was nine feet high, six feet wide . . .
It was nine feet high, six feet wide
Soft as a downy chick
It was made from the feathers of forty 'leven geese
Took a whole bolt of cloth for the tick
It'd hold eight kids, four hound dogs
And a piggy we stole from the shed
We didn't get much sleep but we had a lot of fun
On Grandma's feather bed
After the supper we'd sit around the fire
The old folks'd spit and chew
Pa would talk about the farm and the war
And Granny'd sing a ballad or two
I'd sit and listen and watch the fire
Till the cobwebs filled my head
Next thing I knew I'd wake up in the morning
In the middle of the old feather bed
It was nine feet high, six feet wide . . .
PO TA TO
I guess the use is scant
For other parts of the plant
But that which grows in view
Is eating potato too
POTATO
They're red, they're white, they're brown
They get that way underground
There can't be much to do
So now they have blue ones too
I imagine them under their acres
Out in Idaho and up in Maine
Maybe wondering if they'll be bakers
Or knishes or latkes or plain
PO ta to po ta to po ta to po . . .
We don't care what thay look like we'll eat them
Any way they can fit on our plate
Every way we can conjure to heat the m
We're delighted and think they're just great
BILL GROGAN’S GOAT
PO TA TO
Sometimes we ditch the skin
To eat what it's holding in
Sometimes we'd rather please
Have just the outside with cheese
They have eyes but they do not have faces
I don't know if their feelings get hurt
By just hanging around in dark places
Where they only can stare at the dirt
Gill Groagan’s goat, was feeling fine,
Ate three red shirts, from off the line.
Bill took a stick, gave him a w hack,
And tied him to, the railroad track.
The whistle blew, the train drew nigh.
Bill Grogan’s goat, was doomed to die.
He gave three groans, of awful pain,
Coughed up the shirts, and flagged the train.
STATE LAUGHS
I told a joke, in Idaho
They liked my joke, and really let me know.
Cuz in Idaho, They go, “Ho ho ho!”
and ro-o-o-o-oll on the floor.
So then I went, to Tennessee,
I told my joke, they greeted it with glee.
But in Tennessee, They go “Hee hee hee!”
In Idaho, they go, “Ho ho ho!”
and ro-o-o-o-oll on the floor.
Well next I went, to Arkansas,
I told my joke, and got a big guffaw.
In Arkansas, they go “Haw haw haw!
In Tennessee, they go “Hee hee hee!”
In Idaho, they go, “Ho ho ho!”
and ro-o-o-o-oll on the floor.
I tried my luck, in old Kentuk,
They heard my joke, and they were thunderstruck.
In old Kentuck, they go “Nyuk nyuk nyuk”
In Arkansas, they go “Haw haw haw!
In Tennessee, they go “Hee hee hee!”
In Idaho, they go, “Ho ho ho!”
and ro-o-o-o-oll on the floor.
My joke went big, in Washington,
Where “Ho ho ho’s” are hardly ever done.
In Washington, they go “Oh what fun!”
In old Kentuck, they go “Nyuk nyuk nyuk”
In Arkansas, they go “Haw haw haw!
In Tennessee, they go “Hee hee hee!”
In Idaho, well by now you know,
They ro-o-o-o-oll on the floor.
I came back home, to Delaware,
I told my joke, and all they did was stare.
It was very upsetting.
In Washington, they go “Oh what fun!”
In old Kentuck, they go “Nyuk nyuk nyuk”
In Arkansas, they go “Haw haw haw!
In Tennessee, they go “Hee hee hee!”
In Idaho, they go, “Ho ho ho!”
In all those places, they squigel up their faces,
and ro-o-o-o-oll on the floor!

COUNT ON ME
If you ever find yourself stuck in the middle of the sea, I’ll sail the world to find you.
If you ever find yourself lost in the dark and you can’t see, I’ll be the light to guide you.
Find out what we’re made of, when we are called to help our friends in need.
You can count on me like one, two, three, I’ll be there.
And I know when I need it I can count on you like four, three, two, and you’ll be there.
Cuz that’s what friends are supposed to do, oh yeah.
Oooohhhh, Oooohhhh, Ooh, yeah, yeah
If you’re tossin’ and you’re turnin’ and you just can’t fall asleep, I’ll sing a song beside you.
And if you ever forget how much you really mean to me, everyday I will remind you.
Oh, find out what we’re made of, when we are called to help our friends in need.
You’ll always have me shoulder when you cry.
I’ll never let go, never say goodbye.
You know you can count on me
like one, two, three, I’ll be there.
And I know when I need it I can count on you
like four, three, two, and you’ll be there.
Cuz that’s what friends are supposed to do, oh yeah.
Oooohhhh, oooohhh, Ooh,
You can count on me cuz I can count on you.
