As a leader in innovation and technology, we always
strive to develop our baby mattresses further in order
to ensure that the little ones have the best possible
means to sleep.
In order to bed babies in a way that is ergonomically correct, the core of the
mattress has to be point-by-point elastic, so that the spine is optimally freed from
pressure but still supported, so that it can develop in a healthy manner. We use a
sensor measuring device to test and develop the laying position of the Träumeland
mattress cores! With success …!

The first years are especially important for a child’s development. Physical growth and emotional development
progress rapidly during this time. Since children sleep
a great deal in these early years, parents and caregivers
should hold their child’s sleep environment to high standards. For safety‘s sake, infants should sleep on their backs,
on a mattress that is supportive and has high point-by-point elasticity to equalize
pressure. Air needs to circulate freely in baby’s bed to ensure that nothing
impedes baby‘s breathing. Baby’s room should be kept at 18 °C (and no more
than 20 °C). And finally, do not smoke around baby or in baby’s environment.

mattress cover
The two surfaces of the mattress cover
can be completely separated. If an
accident occurs, you can simply unzip
the mattress cover, place the clean lower
portion on top, and let your child go on
sleeping. This gives you time to wash
the soiled side. Later, simply zip the two
sides of the cover back together over
the mattress and your baby’s mattress is
complete again.

As one of the main components of a mattress, the material of the mattress core
is, of course, especially important. The
materials we use in our mattresses fall
into three quality classes:
soft foam
premium cold foam
and latex coco
natural latex, visco-elastic (“memory”) foam and specialty foams
Ventilation
Mattress ventilation is especially important for babies. It prevents unhealthy heat
build-up and ensures that exhaled CO² is
carried away from baby, allowing fresh air
to take its place.

A baby’s spine is not yet fully developed.
A mattress core with good point-by-point
elasticity relieves the pressure on the spine where needed, but still offers support,
promoting the healthy development of
your baby’s spine.
Additional function
Some of our mattresses are equipped with
additional functions like the Premium-Topper, made out of 3D-air cushion layer, they
excel with a play & sleep function or they
are made out of 100 % natural materials.
Baby side + toddler side
The mattress core has two different
sleeping surfaces: a baby side and a
toddler side, to provide optimum comfort
and support for each stage of your baby’s
development. We recommend turning the
mattress to the toddler side when your
child weighs 12 kilograms or more.
Reinforced edges
The long edges of the mattress are
reinforced to ensure baby’s safety when it
starts to practice standing up in its crib.
We do not reinforce the short edges of
our mattresses because the firmer surface
under baby’s head would result in an
unhealthy sleep position.
Oeko-Tex certification
The entire mattress is certified in
accordance with Oeko-Tex standard 100,
product class 1 for babies, tested for
harmful substances, and marked with the
Oeko-Tex label.
CERTIFIED QUALITY
The “medically tested and tested for
toxins” seal of the Fördergemeinschaft
körperverträglicher Textilien (FKT) identifies body-friendly textiles from
which no substances detach that could
irritate the skin or harm the body’s health.

proven recipe. Even if it is difficult sometimes: do not
lose your cool and do not put any pressure on yourself.

CELLPUR FOAM
Cellpur foam contains natural TENCEL®,
which is made from wood. TENCEL®
makes the foam highly elastic, absorbs
moisture quickly and creates an optimal,
dry sleeping climate.
CELLFLEX- FOAM
Cellflex is ultra-high-quality foam, that is
a further evolution of cold foam. It has a
very open-pored cell structure, high breathability and point-by-point elasticity.
VISCO ELASTIC FOAM
This material also reacts to pressure and
warmth and conforms perfectly to baby´s
body. The open-pore structure makes
visco-elastic foam highly breathable.
VISCO - ELASTIC GEL FOAM
Known for its temperature-balancing gel
particles. Provides ideal pressure balance
and supports the spine.
Particularly breathable and suited for use
in baby beds due to its structure with
open pores.
NATURELATEX
This is the highest quality form of latex
available. It is manufactured from the
milk of the rubber tree. Natural latex
is breathable, temperature regulating,
pressure-relieving with point-by-point
elasticity, and has antiseptic properties
that repel bacteria and dust mites very
effectively. Therefore, natural latex is
especially suitable for allergy sufferers.
LATEXED COCO
The fiber pad of the coconut is a purely
plant-based pad material.
Coconut fibres provide a dry sleeping
environment and have good climate characteristics. Latexed coco is sprinkled with
rubber milk, which particularly improves
breathability and elasticity.
KBT SHEEP‘S WOOL
Mattresses made from sheep‘s wool
coating convince with a high capacity for
retaining warmth and a high moisture
absorption. KBT stands for controlled
biologically animal keeping. It identifies
animal welfare in harmony with nature.
Feeding with genetically modified plants
and the use of fattening additives are
prohibited. The animal‘s reproduction
happens naturally and any procedures on
the animal are forbidden (kbT is the German abbreviation for certified organic).
SWISS STONE PINE
The swiss stone pine grows in the high
mountains in extreme climate conditions,
in controlled forestry. The swiss stone
pine provides for a faster and more efficient recreation during sleep, is proven to
keep away moths and mites and prevents
mould formation.
SOYA FOAM
Soya foam is cold foam which is refined
with soya oil. Through adding soya oil,
the material becomes even more natural
and point-by-point elastic than common
cold foams. Such, it provides ideal resting
comfort and brilliant pressure control.

TENCEL®
A new era in fiber technology began with
the development of TENCEL®. TENCEL®
is a cellulose fiber made from wood in
an environmentally friendly process that
was awarded the European Environmental Prize. Lyocell combines the benefits
of many different fibers. It is fine like
silk, strong like polyester, easy to care for
like acrylic, cool and pleasant like linen,
warm like wool and it absorbs 130 %
more water vapor than cotton.
TENCEL® BLEND
Composition: 32 % TENCEL®,
68 % polyester
This comfortable TENCEL® fabric,
quilted with TENCEL® fleece, provides
an optimal, dry sleeping climate and a
pleasant, soft mattress surface. Washable
at 60 °C and suitable for gentle dryers.
COT TON
Cotton is one of the most familiar and
most widely used natural materials.
Cotton is breathable and very durable.
Therefore, it is especially well suited for
use in mattress covers.
CERTIFIED ORGANIC COT TON
Certified organic cotton is produced
without the use of any artificial fertilizers,
pesticides, or defoliants. (kbA is the German abbreviation for certified organic).
COT TON - POLYESTER BLEND
44 % cotton, 56 % polyester
This mattress cover is especially elastic
and soft. Quilted with washable fleece, it
provides a cozy surface for baby to sleep
on. Washable at 60 °C and suitable for
gentle dryers.
KAPOK
Kapok has a water-repellent effect and
therefore hinders the development of
mites.
WASHABLE FLEECE
100 % polyester
Washable fleece is a washable hollow
fiber that is ideally suited for babies
with allergies. It has high resilience and
adds cushioning to Träumeland mattress
covers.
