Caris Dx Quarterly Pathology Report
Dear Colleagues,
We at Caris Diagnostics are excited to announce a number of updates to our Quarterly Pathology
Report. Increased ease of readability as well as powerful new diagnostic, statistical and referral
data are all presented in this report to help you examine your practice and its relationship with
the large database of Caris Diagnostics. We continually strive to create more informative and
useful quarterly reports for administration and analysis.
The following are updates that you will see in your report.
1. NEW Diagnostic Summary Report, an in-depth analysis of your practices surgical
pathology specimens and diagnoses. (See attached brochure)
2. Cleaner layout and formatting for at-a-glance analysis of your reports
3. Month by month breakout of your specimen count by type, including a quarterly average
of specimens taken per patient.
4. Pathology Volume Report by Physician now displays physician volume submitted to
Caris Diagnostics numerically and as a percentage of the whole.
5. NEW Most Frequent Referrals among CarisDx patients displays the top 25 referring
physicians whose patient referrals generated tissue that was submitted to Caris
Diagnostics
6. Pathology Turnaround Time report presents the variables that contribute to a case
exceeding the 48 hour turnaround time. The report now includes items designated as
internal (CarisDx) and external (your practice) for your consideration.
We hope you and your colleagues find this new report of even more value to your practice.

Diagnostic Summary Report
Diagnostic Summary Report
The Caris Dx Diagnostic Summary Report is a quarterly summary of diagnoses rendered on patients treated at your surgery
center along with those from the Caris Dx national database. The report details both numbers and percentages of major GI
diseases, such as Barrett’s Esophagus (with and without dysplasia) and subtypes of colonic polyps. Clinicians have found this
report useful for quality tracking as required by accrediting agencies such as AAAHC and have used these data when working
with managed care providers. In addition, this report may be helpful in communication with referring physicians.
