Standard on Element and Enclave series, this type of paint finish is
the latest in paint technology and is very durable. It’s smooth, even,
flawless finish is another example of Hovik’s commitment to quality.
Our finish is environmentally friendly. Hovik has 24 modern decorative
colors including 4 premium anti-graffiti vein textured colors. Custom
colors and finishes are also available.

and installing washroom compartments, we
have seen many of the problems a poor design
creates. We have eliminated these problems,
thus giving you the highest quality washroom
compartment at a competitive price, with a
rapid, low cost and simple installation.
With Hovik, you will receive quality hardware of the saddle mount
style with through bolts to ensure a tight, long-lasting fit. Hovik’s
standard hardware is chrome plated zymak. Stainless steel is available
upon request.

Our in-house engineering team is able to create
a layout using any design criteria or special
requirements. From our “Element” powder
coat baked enamel, to our enhanced “Enclave”
privacy series, to “Evoke” designer stainless steel
or “Estate” solid Phenolic partitions, Hovik has
the product to fit all your design requirements.
Due to the demand for a washroom stall that will hold up in high
traffic, vandalism prone areas, Hovik has introduced the reinforced
pegboard stalls which have 1/8˝ peg board added to the interior
walls of all components, decreasing the possibility of denting and
vandalism. (Available upon request)
All washroom partitions are engineered
to meet physically challenged and ADA
code requirements.
This aesthetically pleasing method of continuously bonding the
formed edges ensures an integral one-piece unit with welded corners
and a tight clean hygienic seal.
Oval Crown Locking System
Top Door Bracket
In keeping with Hovik’s high standards, this bracket is an internal part
of the door and has a threaded pin going through the hinge for a
three point bearing.
Anti-Grip Headrail
This overlapping fit adheres to Hovik’s commitment to a clean,
scratch-free installation. Incorporated into our headrail is a concealed
curtain track compatible with easy slide hooks available for shower
stalls and change room applications.
Handicapped Compliance
In our effort to supply the highest quality washroom compartments,
Hovik has placed special emphasis on commitment to the physically
challenged, with our easy grasp door latch handle and pedestal
mounted pilasters.

ENCLAVE SERIES
Privacy + “Enclave” Washroom Compartments
A privacy astragal is available for applications
where sight lines into the compartments need to
be eliminated. This option is to be used in areas
where privacy for the patrons is of the utmost
importance. An internal channel that fills the door
gaps creates privacy. Also, the length of the doors
and panels are increased to 64˝ (1625 mm).
This creates minimal space underneath the
washroom compartment and still allows for
easy cleaning of floors. If enhanced privacy and
the elimination of sightlines are a concern, the
Enclave series from Hovik is your answer.
The Enclave Series offers maximum privacy while at the
same time does not sacrifice stylish good looks.

ESTATE SERIES
Durability + “Estate” Restroom Compartments
All of Hoviks washroom compartments are
designed with functionality and reliability in mind
but equally important is durability in high traffic
areas. In certain public applications such as pools
and fitness clubs where more frequent cleaning
and sanitation are required the Estate Series hold
up to the wear and tear.
The Estate series from Hovik also offers great privacy
by default due to the tight fit between doors and
dividers. Heavy duty “saddle mount” pivot hinges
and stainless steel hardware is standard. Continuous
piano hinges are optional for sightline minimization
and longevity. (Available in: Phenolic Resin or Plastic Laminate)

MOUNTING SYSTEM APPLICATIONS:
All Element, Enclave, and Evoke series are available in the following structures:
O.B. Overhead Braced Model
The most popular choice for existing and new construction… With its ease of installation and low cost, the floor mounted headrail
braced is highly recommended for schools, restaurants and public facilities.
F.B. Floor Braced Model
For high ceiling washrooms, these provide a clean line across the top of the washroom compartments, complimentary to the wide
range of architectural and modern decors. Please keep in mind this product is not recommended for wooden floors or post-tension
and radiant floor heated buildings. Anchors must penetrate into the concrete floor a minimum 2˝ (50mm).

C.H. Ceiling Hung Model
Used where maintenance is of primary importance. This series is of a clean open-air design and provides unobstructed floor access,
thus reducing operating costs. Due to its design, this stall must have structural steel or wood backing in the ceiling in order to assure a
stable installation. *Structural steel/wood support in ceiling to be provided by others*
F.C. Floor to Ceiling Model
This type of washroom compartment is ideal for very high traffic washrooms. It is used where vandalism has been a problem as it is
very durable and strong.

P.O.B. Pedestal Overhead Braced Model
This design is used where fastening to the ceiling is a problem due to unseen obstacles or lack of structural steel.
Using a stainless steel pedestal mount allows for easy floor maintenance.
General Specifications for Powder Coated Finished Partitions
Doors, panels, screens, and pilasters shall be constructed of two
sheets of tension levelled zinc coated steel galvanneal ASTM A653
GR33 formed and cemented under pressure to a structural 32 psi
sound deadening honeycomb core with a waterproof thermo setting
adhesive. Formed edges of doors, panels, and pilasters shall be
welded at intervals around the entire perimeter to construct a rigid
one-piece integral unit. Edges to be capped with an oval roll formed
locking clip moulding. Corners to be welded and ground smooth for
a clean appearance.
Doors: Shall be 25mm (1˝) thick with cover sheets to be not less
than 22ga. (0.8mm)
Panels: Shall be 25mm (1˝) thick with cover sheets to be not less
than 22ga. (0.8mm)
Pilasters: To be 32mm (1.25˝) thick with cover sheets to be not less
than 18ga. (1.2mm)
Headrail: Headrail to be extruded aluminum 6063 T5 with a clear
anodized finish and an anti-grip profile.
Hardware: All panels and pilaster brackets to be chrome plated
zymak die-castings. Door hardware to be insert castings formed into
door at time of assembly for maximum strength. Hinges shall be wrap
around type. Top hinge secured by a threaded locking pin. Bottom
hinge being equipped with a gravity threaded locking pivot. This is
adjustable to permit the door to come to desired or set position when
not latched. Each door shall be fitted with one concealed door latch

with emergency entry slot. Each door shall have one door-keeper
and one combined coat hook door bumper. All handicap doors to be
furnished with an easy grasp latch handle and exterior and interior 6˝
pull handles. All hardware is ADA and CSA approved and is available
in stainless steel if required.
Protective Finish: All steel sheet to be phosphate cleaned and
finished with a high performance hybrid powder epoxy. This painting
system is to be applied electrostatically and cured at 375 degrees for
ten minutes to achieve a uniform smooth protective finish. Thickness
of coating shall be a minimum of 1.5mm. Colour shall be selected
from Hovik’s Colour Selector. Special anti-graffiti textures, patterns
and custom colours are also available upon request.
Stainless Steel Finish: Construction specifications are to be the
same as powder coat finish, except that sheet metal to be 304, #4
finish stainless steel, unpainted with protective film removable upon
completion of the installation.
*Textured finish Evotex woven or leathertex stainless steel available
with an upcharge. Consult with factory for further information.
Installation: Rooms shall be clean and dry prior to installation.
Pilaster Attachment Specifications for Powder Coated Finished Partitions
O.B. Pilaster to Floor Attachments: The bottom of the pilaster is to be secured to the floor with a minimum 16ga. floor channel fastened
internally to the pilaster. A one piece rigid stainless steel shoe 3.75˝ (95mm) in height shall protect the pilaster floor attachments.
F.B. Pilaster to Floor Attachments: The bottom of the pilaster is to be secured to the floor with a 1/2˝ (13mm) diameter steel expansion
anchor. Nuts and threads to be used for leveling. A one-piece rigid stainless steel shoe 3.75˝ (95mm) in height shall conceal pilaster floor
attachments.
C.H. Pilaster to Ceiling Attachments: Pilaster to be independently anchored and suspended from the ceiling by the use of two 3/8˝
redi-rods. Overhead structural steel support and all drilling requirements for suspending to be provided by others (3/8˝ redi-rod supplied by
Manufacturer). A one-piece rigid stainless steel shoe 3.75˝ (95mm) in height shall conceal pilaster-ceiling attachments.
F.C.. Pilaster to Floor Attachments: Pilaster to ceiling attachments to be the same as our overhead braced model (concealed wood support in
ceiling to be supplied by others). Pilaster to floor attachments to be the same as our Floor Braced Model. One piece rigid stainless steel shoe 3.75˝
(95mm) in height shall conceal pilaster floor and ceiling attachments.
P.O.B. Pilaster to Floor Attachments: The bottom of the pilaster is to be secured to the Hovik pedistal with a minimum 16ga. floor
channel fastened internally to the pilaster. A one piece rigid stainless steel shoe 3.75˝ (95mm) in height shall protect the pilaster floor
attachments.

and workmanship for two years from date of purchase. The Evoke and Estate series are guaranteed for
10 years. Any products returned to Hovik under his guarantee will be repaired or replaced at no charge.
Damage to the product from vandalism is not included in this guarantee.
Hovik has been a pioneer in the design of facilities for the handicapped.
All materials are designed and engineered to meet or exceed barrier-free and ADA code requirements.
All Hovik components can be modified to meet specific local requirements for handicapped areas.

LEED Version 2.1 Certification Program Information
The LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Green Building Rating System is a voluntary
standard for developing environmentally responsible , low emission, high performance, and sustainable buildings.
It was developed by the U.S. Green Building Council, under contract with the US Department of Energy. Individual
materials and products used in buildings are not certified. The Version 2.1 certification process is for the entire
construction project. The project earns “points” towards becoming certified. The categories where points can
accumulate for Hovik Industries Partitions and Lockers are as follows:
Recycled Content: LEED V2.1 awards points for buildings that contain recycled, salvaged, reused, or refurbished
materials, with points awarded as a function of the total building material weights (5%= 1 point, 10%= 2 points).
Credit is based on the sum of post-consumer recycled material + 1/2 of the post recycled material. This contributes
to Credits 4.1 & 4.2 of the “Materials & Resources” area.
Local Regional Materials: LEED V2.1 awards 1 point if 20% of the building materials are manufactured
(final assembly) regionally within 500 miles of the project site. This contributes to Credit 5.1 of the
“Materials & Resources” area.
Rapidly Renewable Materials: LEED V2.1 awards 1 point if 5% of the total value of all building materials
used are derived from plants that are harvested within a ten - year cycle or shorter. This contributes to Credit 6.0
of the “Materials & Resources” area.
Certified Wood Materials: LEED V2.1 awards 1 point if a minimum of 50% of wood based materials certified in
accordance with Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) Guidlines. This contributes to Credit 7.0 of the “Materials &
Resources” area.
Low Emitting Materials: LEED V2.1 awards 1 point (Credits 4.1 and 4.2 of “Indoor Environmental Quality” area)
if the VOC content is less than the current limits specified in the SCAQMD Rule # 1168 (adhesives) and Green
Seal Standard GS.11 (paint), and 1 point (Credit EQ 4.4) if the composite wood agri-fibre products contain no
added urea formaldehyde resins.
