It was clearly evident from the consistent crowds under the book vendor tent, nothing beats lying down or curling up with a book in hand. A literate people. A strong nation. In the words of Kauikeaouli, “He aupuni palapala ko‘u.” My kingdom is one of literacy. In October 2010, Ka Waihona Puke ‘Ōiwi will celebrate our 25th Anniversary.
