COMBI
Custom three quarter awning
If you want a three quarter sized awning that can take
a side annexe, then the answer is here. At NR we
can customise our existing full awning range to be used
in this way. A Combi awning fits into the channel like a
full awning on one side, and comes out down the side of
the van on the other side like a Porch. The choice is yours
of which awning it is to be based on, model, colour and
frame. Follow the diagram shown below on how to
measure your van for a Combi, you decide how wide
to make it. This measurement is then translated across to
our existing range of full awnings, and we customise
the model of your choice and supply it with a rear leg kit.
The kit contains all the parts needed to seal up the side
of the awning that comes out of the awning channel down
the caravan side. Because the Combi is based on the
full awning range you will be able to add a side annexe
or utilise your existing side annexe (NR Awning model
depending). Please see the earlier pages in this brochure
for full details on the Executive, Pullman and Balmoral,
the Combi can be based on these units only.
Note: The Combi shown here has a one piece front, this
is the smallest unit we make, anything above this size will
have two front panels.
Measuring for a Combi
As large as you want to make it the Combi bridges the gap between Porch and full awning, whilst still being able to take a side annexe.

Measure from the ground (Point X), up into the awning
channel on the van, around the curve and along past the
door. Where you would like the awning to finish, come
out of the channel and down the side of the van at a
slight slope to the ground (shown by the dotted line, to Y).
The caravan shown here has the door at the rear, don’t
worry if your door is closer to the front. Simply take your
measurement starting at the front of the van instead.

SIDE ANNEXE
An optional side annexe can be fitted to the Executive, Pullman and Balmoral. Made
from lightweight acrylic coated polyester the annexe will fit on either side of the
Executive or Pullman and on the left side only of a Balmoral, adding an extra
dimension to your awning. With an opaque side window on either side and a plain
fixed end panel the annexe is versatile as a storage area, diner or bedroom. Fit the
included inner tent which has a zip door front and it becomes a walk in height
bedroom with ground area of the inner tent approx. 6’8’’x 4’6’’. The Balmoral awning
has less projection than the Executive and Pullman so has a smaller annexe area,
approx 5’8’’ x 4’0’’. An optional Privacy Screen in matching materials can be used to
close off the annexe from view when using it for storage.

manufacturing defect or material faults for 5 years after
purchase. The Guarantee is non transferable and does not

all the way through the awning channel on the van. This is known as the ‘A’

IMPORTANT
Never pack away your awning when wet. Occasionally the awning will be
removed when wet, this is unavoidable. When this happens, dry out
the awning within 24/48 hours.
The first time you use the awning in wet weather it is possible that the seams
may suffer from leaks. Do not worry - this in not unusual and after “weathering”
the leaks will cease.
Keep naked flames (e.g. From cookers) away from the awning.
