My production company manages audio and video for clients and for thirty years has covered a wide assortment of locations. This past year we assisted a client of ours with an event at a major casino in Las Vegas where we found Mr. Sanchez highly recommended as the lead audio engineer. I would like to say that we have encountered many engineers over the years and that Joseph was exceptional. There are several reasons. The client had reduced the crew and equipment due to budget constraints, thus making the job of creating a world-­‐class presentation exponentially more difficult. The room also was laid out in a long rectangle with the FOH position on the short side, definitely more challenging to mix. However, Joseph has such great ears that he put together a tremendous sound and made it a joy for all concerned. He treated the event as if it were the Olympics, with a caring attitude and attention to detail that was wonderful for all concerned. He made the client feel like royalty and managed difficult sound levels exquisitely. Our client was almost entirely Spanish-­‐speaking, so Joseph was a perfect fit, fluent in Spanish and fine in English. He was very easy and fun to work with, and most accommodating of the infinite little extra requests that are always thrown at the engineer. Joseph was extremely capable with the entire signal path and all the gear, which involved multiple feeds and many last-­‐minute changes. Quite simply, he has just an extraordinary work ethic. If you are fortunate enough to work with this excellent talent, I am certain you will be as happy as we were.
