Telescopic Handlers T35100 / T35100L / T35100SL / T35120L / T35120SL | 1 The Bobcat® spirit Combine the speed, agility and strength of a skid-steer loader with the extended reach of a forklift, and you have the Bobcat® telescopic handlers, a multi-purpose utility machine designed to handle your toughest jobs effortlessly and efficiently. The Bobcat® telescopic handler blends innovative engineering, prodigious power and over-the-top performance in a single machine, ideally suited for loading, digging, grading, back-filling, handling and placing material, removing snow, mulching, waste transfer, bale handling and more. A light, robust, unitized frame gives Bobcat® telescopic handlers the strength to lift as much or more than heavier machines in the same class. A side-mounted engine and low-mount boom provide better allaround visibility. And a Quick-Tach system, hydraulically activated as an option, makes hooking up and disconnecting attachments a breeze. 2 | Machines to make your life easier The 10-metre T35100, T35100L and T35100SL and 12-metre T35120L and T35120SL telehandler models are part of the range of telescopic handlers from Bobcat designed for a wide variety of applications in building, construction, industry, recycling, plant hire, local authority and general material handling work. Both the T35100 and T35120 model ranges offer the features of the larger 14 and 17 metre models, including the new engine compartment, new cab and the advanced new boom. Frame-levelling (L) is an important feature for operation on uneven ground, whilst stabilizers (S) are available for those applications which require increased stability when working at extended heights or reach. Component protection Maintenance • The crowding cylinder is housed in the nose of the boom, which • Bobcat® telescopic handlers are designed ensures that it is well protected. on common platforms. The engine is housed in a cradle which isolates it from dust. This helps maintenance operations. • For routine maintenance, Bobcat® to keep it clean and makes it easier to inspect and maintain the telescopic handlers offer excellent access engine. to all main components. Moreover, no specialized tools are required for this work. | 3 Comfort and Safety Comfort is paramount in every Bobcat® telescopic handler. Operator cab The cab is designed to provide a maximum of space with easy to use controls, so the operator is able to work all day long in a comfortable environment that promotes productivity. The cab design incorporates advanced technology that meets every requirement in terms of ergonomics, comfort and safety. Bobcat® telescopic handlers offer excellent visibility, which is especially beneficial when operating in the following situations: • forwards for picking up equipment • upwards for positioning at maximum height • all-round for manoeuvring • backwards for safety 4 | Two outer rear-view mirrors are fitted ➊ ➋ ➌ as standard, throughout the range. The cabin Bobcat® telescopic handlers rests on 3”Silentbloc” shock absorbers and is fitted to the chassis via the patented “Zebullon” suspension system, which absorbs impact energy when operating the telescopic handler. Cab features • large, functional space for the operator • internal cab width of 92 cm • multiple adjustments for seat and backrest • safety belt 3 steering modes for ease of handling: ➊ All-wheel steer for on-site handling (small turning circles) ➋ Crab-steer for positioning loads from side-to-side in restricted areas ➌ Front-wheel steer for travel on roads • adjustable steering column • multifunctional, proportional joystick • efficient heating / demisting • access handles • step • working lights • compliance with ISO ROPS and FOPS standards Options • air conditioning Easy-to-use controls • single loader-style hydraulic joystick for boom and bucket functions • boom extension and auxiliary functions activated by variable control thumb wheels on joystick • single shuttle lever for forward, reverse, high and low speeds • single lever for turn signals, horn and high-beam road lights • tilt and telescoping steering wheel column • windscreen protection grid • roof window wiper | 5 Performance Bobcat® telescopic handlers use advanced technology providing optimum performance and manoeuvrability and a host of other advantages. Power and precision The 10 and 12 metre ranges of telehandlers are designed to meet a wide variety of material handling needs. The hydrostatic transmission gives operators precise control of the machine at all times, whilst the offset design of the boom head and bucket rotation (a full 145 degrees) allow these telehandlers also to work efficiently in loading and dumping operations. Stabilisers Stabilisers on the T35100SL increase the maximum allowable load when the boom is fully extended horizontally from 500 kg to 1200 kg, whilst the comparable figures for the T35120SL are from 350 kg to 1200 kg. When not in use, the stabilisers are designed to stow completely within the overall width of the machine. 6 | Efficient Loading • The smooth gradient of the boom and the position of the arm pivot provide increased thrust and penetration. Furthermore, the front wheels do not lift off the ground, so the operatior benefits from using all 4 driving wheels. 145° • Planetary reduction axles are standard on all Bobcat telescopic handlers, assisting traction and reliability. This design is frequently used on larger earth moving equipment. • The offset design of the boom head optimises the use of the telehandler by increasing the bucket dumping and crowding angles as well as the speed of the bucket rotation, which is a full 145°. Power The hydrostatic transmission provides a 95% performance efficiency. This means: Hydrostatic Transmission power coupled with low fuel consumption. All Bobcat® telescopic handlers have a simple-to-use, heavy-duty Precision The hydrostatic transmission industrial hydrostatic transmission. makes it possible to place the load to the • great wheel torque for digging and pushing exact mm.
