Sounds of Soul
Saturday, November 12, 2016, 8:00 p.m.
Get ready to relive the hits of Motown and beyond, as this
exciting, high-energy group unleashes superior vocals and
slick dance moves powered by pure soul! The Sounds of Soul
have been delighting audiences across the nation since 1996.
The group is composed of six seasoned performers who have
excelled as outstanding singers, dancers, and songwriters.
Each member has shared the national recording spotlight
driven by the power of Capital Records,
Big Apple Records, and R & S Records, to name but a few.
The show is a combination of Motown classics mixed with
some of the greatest songs of all time. Get ready to soak in
the hits of The Temptations, The Four Tops, Aretha Franklin,
Whitney Houston, The Supremes, Lionel Richie, Tina Turner,
Barry White, and more. The Sounds of Soul are known for
their recognizable choreography, distinct harmonies, and
flashy, up-scale stage persona.

A true “comic’s comic,” Bobby Slayton, often referred to as
“The Pitbull of Comedy,” has been performing his own intense
style of stand-up comedy for over thirty years, becoming one
of the best known, respected, and energetic comics working
today. Audiences around the country may recognize Bobby
from movies such as Get Shorty, Dreamgirls, and The Rat
Pack; his own Comedy Specials on both Showtime and HBO.
Slayton’s distinct gravelly voice has been heard on radio
commercials and animated shows like Family Guy. The Las
Vegas Review Journal said that “Slayton’s refusal to compromise
his art has always made him worth a special trip.”
Jessica Kirson’s unique style and captivating stage presence
captures the attention of audiences everywhere she performs.
Her wide variety of characters brings a diverse energy to her
routine. She recently accepted the Nightlife Award for “Best
Stand up Comedian” in NYC. Her Youtube channel, The JessyK
Show, has over 2.2 million views.

There are dozens of part-time Beatle cover bands in an over-saturated cover scene. Many
claim to be “The Best Beatles Tribute Band” or “The Number One Beatles Tribute Band.”
It is fair to ask: What separates The Beatlemaniacs from the rest?
The key is energy and repetition. The Beatlemaniacs have been touring worldwide in
concert halls, small venues, casinos, theatres and cruise ships for over 13 years. The
Beatles toured for roughly five years, and their shows only ran 20 to 30 minutes, so The Beatlemaniacs have performed these songs more than The Beatles themselves –
and that is reflected in their live performances. The Beatlemaniacs do not skip any details
and take no liberties in reproducing the look and sound of the ‘Fab Four’.

John Capes’ show is a journey through the highlights of his
career in such hit musicals and Tony Award-winners as
Les Misérables, The Phantom of the Opera,
The Kiss of the Spider Woman, Joseph and the Amazing
Technicolor Dreamcoat, Candide, 110 in the Shade,
Carousel, and Strike Up the Band, as well as a number of
other audience favorites from the Broadway repertoire.
Capes’ soaring, soul-caressing, and exuberant
voice breathes life into the lyrics and
brings audiences to their feet time and again.

Of all the supernatural powers identical twins are said to share,
surely Anthony and Eddie Edwards lucked out with the best
possible preternatural ability: impressions. Combined, they
have a repertoire of more than 100 celebrity impressions,
each one performed in costume, without lip-syncing and
often while performing their own musical accompaniment.
Discovered by comedy legend Carol Burnett, Anthony handles
many of the male impersonations, including Elton John, while
Eddie is noted for his spot-on re-creations of Barbra Streisand,
Bette Midler, and Cher. The all-singing, all-dancing Edwards
Twins are a favorite in Vegas and in theaters across the country
and the world.

Tammy Pescatelli brings brassy sexiness with a female
voice of witty sarcasm to her audiences, holding her own
on the topics of sports, television, dating, and family life,
using tongue-in-cheek humor. She is one of the only female
comedians who is relatable to every audience member – male
and female. After seeing her perform, nearly everyone wishes
she was their best friend or sister!
Diane DeNoble is a firecracker! She is a highly sought after female
vocalist and bandleader for her high energy show band “On The
Roxx”. Diane is a local S. Florida girl but her singing style makes
her appeal to audiences worldwide.

Season SERIES tickets go on sale on Monday, August 8 at 9:30 a.m. for RESIDENTS. The series includes all seven season shows for a discounted price of $175, and offers priority seating until individual show tickets become available for sale.
INDIVIDUAL show tickets become available for sale on Monday, August 22 at 9:30 a.m.
GUEST show tickets become available for sale on Monday, August 29 at 9:30 a.m.
Show Series Package
$175 per person for ALL SEVEN season shows
Purchase the Show Series Package and receive tickets to all seven season shows with the
opportunity to select your seats first, beginning Monday, August 8 at 9:30 a.m. and prior to the
individual show tickets going on sale. You not only receive the preferred seating, you receive
a discount too. Seven season shows for the cost of six. Limit four Show Series Packages per
household.
Individual Show Tickets
$30 per person per show
As an alternative to the Show Series Package, you may purchase tickets for individual shows
beginning Monday, August 22 at 9:30 a.m. Limit four per household.
Individual Show Guest Ticket Sales
$30 per guest per show
Purchase Individual Show tickets for your family and friends after all resident priorities have been
met, beginning Monday, August 29 at 9:30 a.m.
All show tickets are available for purchase on-line on the Valencia Cove website at www.
valenciacovehoa.com. Show tickets are payable by credit card only through the above noted secure
website. This is an additional feature and a great convenience for Valencia Cove residents at home
or away.
Please note that artists have a 45-day out clause in their contracts to accommodate a possible
movie, TV engagement or other such opportunity that may arise. If necessary, an act will be
replaced with a comparable one at the sole discretion of management. No refunds will be given
unless a show is cancelled and announced as such. Dress code policy: no shorts for men, long pants
only.
