Here we take the casual, easy-going dining attitudes of Spain and mix traditional Spanish dishes with Alberta ingredients and modern style. Ox and Angela blends Old World charm with a casual, yet refined atmosphere where anything is possible. An extraordinary event—large or small, decadent or relaxed—can be custom-crafted and tailored to suit you and your guests needs. Our Spanish inspired restaurant and tapas bar is a vibrant mix of sophisticated and playful dining experiences, that transcend an ordinary event into a fête extraordinaire. We offer a variety of different options for group gatherings. The space can be divided into two smaller rooms or the entire restaurant can be yours. Whether you pick the Ox side or Angela side, both offer the same fun, Spanish tapas, family-dining experience and phenomenal service. Sincerely, Ox and Angela! OX The ‘Ox’ side, named for its darker more masculine atmosphere, boasts a large bar and banquette seating. For groups requiring a television and audiovisual equipment, this is the side for you. ‘Ox’ is perfect for stand up functions where the bar can be transformed into a true ‘San Sebastien’ style tapas bar loaded with food. ‘Ox’ can accommodate up to 30 people for a seated dinner and up to 50 guests for a stand up cocktail party. ANGELA The ‘Angela’ side gets its name from the bright décor, big windows and airy feel of a larger space. This side is great for parties wanting a combination of stand up and sit down functionality and can accommodate up to 80 people standing and 50 people seated. The meal starts off with smaller placed tapas and works into larger items, finally finishing with dessert. All items are designed to share and pass around the table for a fun and Lunch: interactive experience. $50 La Comida means Lunch in Spanish, and Lunch in Spain means business! Your group can expect seven of our favourite tapas including dessert, and we can have you out in under one hour if necessary. $30 per guest per guest BRUNCH! The Bullfighters Feast This menu includes seven of our favourite brunch classics, Patatas Bravas and dessert. Dinner:Designed to feed a hungry crew, this menu includes everything the ‘Spanish Table’ does with the addition of a few more tapas and PAELLA! Named for the feast that happens after the famous bull fights of the Basque region, where hungry matadors are honoured $75 per guest The Tapas Bar Recreating the fun, convivial tapas bars of San Sebastian Spain, this is the best option for a stand-up only dinner party. Your guests will be well fed with 11 different placed tapas, both hot and cold, replenished throughout the evening. $50 per guest La Comida Supremo A ‘supreme’ lunch menu. Includes all seven tapas from the regular Comida menu with the addition of our seasonal PAELLA! $37 per guest $30 per guest The Fiesta! This menu combines both the ‘San Sebastian style’ stand up tapas bar to start, finishing with a seated, family-style dinner showcasing some of the finest premium products Spain has to offer. $100 per guest + Tapas Bar Start with a combination of hot and cold, placed and passed tapas while you welcome your guests into Ox and Angela. This menu is a compliment to any other menu options. $25 per guest Please Note Menus are seasonal and change as often as our Alberta weather Please let us know the dietary restrictions and/or allergies of your guests and we can happily accommodate them. Summer/Winter Rates for 2015 Your ‘rent’ for the night includes your food and drinks up to the minimum spend for the appropriate day of the week. A room charge will only be applied to your bill, if your group does not reach the minimum through food and beverages.
