We are delighted to show you the Elysian Collection. Drawing inspiration from
the decorative Louis styles and the simpler yet graceful Transitional style, both
the authentic classic Anton Range and the smart contemporary Etien Range work
equally well in refined and contemporary interiors and are good examples of our
passion and commitment to excellence in design and craftsmanship.
As a progression from our Leporello catalogue, the Elysian Collection offers diversity
in style. There are new materials, cherry wood, caning, mirrored glass, inlays and cast
bronze fittings. Much consideration has gone into the design features – the floral
carvings and oval shapes in the Anton Range and the gracious serpentine fronts,
twisted upright posts, multi directional curved panels with vee groove detailing in
the Etien range. We have developed special Antique and Distressed paint finishes
inspired from visits to French chateaux, Swedish churches and palaces in Lisbon.
Our objective is to create elegant, comfortable furniture for you and your home
with an individual and reliable service. Each piece is handmade to order and
meticulously finished by our team of highly skilled craftsmen at Leporello in Dorking,
allowing you a flexibility in design and a choice of paint colours and treatments.

glass top creates a dramatic dining experience
sparkling with glassware, flowers and lights.
Our impressive Dining Collection comprises
two dining table styles, Elysian and Etien with
a selection of chairs, sideboards, serving tables
and glass cabinets to choose from.
The cabinetry may be fitted with shelves, wine
racks or glass tops. The tables extend with ease
on gliding runners to seat ten people comfortably.

of fabrics, caned or panelled if you prefer, with the option of
a footboard or foot rail. The ornate Bedside Chests offer good
storage and a pull out tray extension. Within the collection is
a very pretty Oval Table with finely carved legs and a selection
of Mirrors, Chairs and Stools to choose from together with
attractive and generously sized Chests and Wardrobes.

Caned Headboard option in this range as well as
upholstered or panelled. The cane is hand dyed to
complement our paint colours. For those who like
an open ended bed, this design with a Foot Rail is

Our unique Etien Range has been designed as ‘Contemporary French’
with strong lines, stylish looks and meticulous painting to create a
refined sophisticated look for your room. The inset panels may be
painted in contrast colours. As an enhancement, a contrast paint
colour can be applied to the interiors of wardrobes and drawers.
The Range, superbly crafted, includes Standard
and Four Post Beds in varying sizes from single
to king with upholstered, caned or panelled
headboards, together with bedside tables,
serpentine front bedside chest, chest of drawers,
dressing table, mirror and stool, writing table and
chairs and a choice of Armoire and Wardrobes.

The Armoire takes influence from the Medieval
period with ornate escutcheons and hinges. You
may wish to choose a contrast interior paint colour
or to have one of our professional artist’s designs

table tops or wardrobe doors, as illustrated.

Useful Information
Showroom
Our spacious showroom at No. 4 Old Char Wharf is open
weekdays and weekends by appointment. We are easy to
find approximately ten minutes drive from Junction 9 of the
M25. Please call direct on 01306 875550 if you wish to
make an appointment.
Timber
Frames are made from hand selected hardwoods including
beech, poplar and cherry. Panels are cut from veneered boards
for stability. This combination offers an excellent, strong,
smooth and stable base for our multi-layered paint finishes,
however, remember that wood is a live material and may react
to the effects of excessive temperature, moisture or sunlight.
Construction
Our furniture follows time proved construction methods.
All frames are formed with mortice & tenon joints that are
well glued and are extremely strong and light. Drawers are
assembled with dovetail joints on traditional guides. The
hardware has been carefully selected for its aesthetic
sympathy, durability and efficiency.
Paint Finishes
Our furniture is painted with non toxic water based paints and
sealed with a protective lacquer. As colours have an evolving
nature, ask to see our latest additions. A special colour and
finish service is available and we will give you a quotation
based on your specification.
Beds & Mattresses
Single beds come with a sturdy set of pine slats, all other
sizes include high quality metal framed beech twin sprung
slatted bases.

We supply a choice of quality mattresses made by a leading
British luxury bed manufacturer, specifically designed for use
on frame beds with sprung slatted bases.
Headboards are designed to fit to a divan base, alternatively
they can be fixed to a wall. All headboards may be panelled,
caned or upholstered.
Visitor beds come as a metal frame (which can be raised to
18”) with a sprung slatted base and hand made mattress.
These fit under our single beds or alternatively in a Trundle
box on castors.

Chairs & Stools
Prices include upholstery in customer’s choice of fabric but not
the cost of the fabric. All upholstery fabrics must comply with
the current fire retardancy regulations. Barrier /back coating
and stain repellent treatments are available at an additional cost
if required. We will order fabric on your behalf.
Leporello’s paint palette offers a range of classic versatile colours that complement the design
of our furniture. Choose between the Antique and Distressed finishes or the Classic finishes.
Should you not find the colour or tone you are seeking, we do offer a colour matching service.

All dimensions are approximate and in centimetres. Every
effort has been made to reproduce Leporello’s range
accurately, however due to the nature of production, the
furniture may vary slightly in small details. We reserve the
right to modify our designs without notification.

cheque payment made payable to Leporello with your written
order. 70% deposit payment is required with bespoke pieces.

Delivery
Standard items can normally be prepared within six to eight
weeks. For larger items and hand finishes please allow eight
to ten weeks. Goods can either be collected or a home delivery
service arranged – quote upon request.

We take great care of your furniture when we deliver to you.
We want you to be delighted with all aspects of our service.
Most items arrive in cardboard boxes. Wardrobes come in
parts for ease of access. We can assemble these for you in
about an hour. Bed frames come as Headboard, Footboard,
Side rails and Slatted base frames. These take about half an
hour to assemble. Allow additional time if parking or access
to your home is restricted or your room is on the fifth floor!
Tell us about any obstructions and please make sure your
room is clear. Delivery charges can be kept to a minimum
if we can send one man.
