Dear Friends and Hereford Enthusiasts:
We would like to welcome you to the second
annual Stephens and Loehr Holiday Classic Sale to be held
November 28, 2009. It is an honor to have guest consignors
of Young Cattle Company, Bob-O-Lou Herefords, and Split
Oak Farms. We have spent a lot of time preparing for the
sale and it is very exciting and so enlightening. We feel that
our annual Holiday Classic Sale gives us a great
opportunity to promote our Hereford Cattle. We have
produced some extremely powerful genetics which we offer
to you to complement your own breeding programs. Since
Katie and Kayla are both in their first year of college, we
have decided to offer more heifer calves. We have show
heifers, bred cows, cow/calf pairs and herd bull prospects
for you to choose from.

Dear Fellow Hereford Enthusiasts:
It is with great excitement that I welcome you to the
Second Annual Stephens & Loehr Holiday
Classic Sale. This event is an opportunity for
Hereford breeders to take advantage of the hard work
that these two firms dedicated so much time, energy and
money in breeding better Herefords.
Pete Loehr has with out doubt purchased some of the
most powerful Hereford females that were available at
public auction in the past decade. In addition, Pete has a
herd bull line up that will knock your socks off. Bulls like
UPS Odyssey 1ET, 2006 Denver National Champion,
GH Adams Shadow 144S, a maternal brother to Rambo
with his first calves averaging over $9,000 at the 2008
Upstream Ranch sale, CL 1 Domino 637S 1ET, who sired
the high indexing sire group for Cooper Hereford Ranch’s
2008 calf crop, and SR Saga 1167 whose first females to
sale in the 2009 Upstream Ranch Fall Heifer Sale
averaged $12,500. The majority of the show heifers in the
Holiday Classic sale are sired by these outstanding herd
bulls.
Mark Stephens and his family have done a terrific job in
selecting and showing cattle that will perform in all arenas.
Stephens Herefords do what Hereford cattle do best. They

We purchased this heifer in Colyers’ 2003 internet sale. She produced the Calf
Champion at the 2006 IL State Fair junior show, 2006 JNHE class winner and
Champion Hereford Steer at many county fairs for Frank Erschen in 2008.
Mandy is a big volumed, well balanced, clean fronted cow that is red on all
four and red necked that combines it all in a nice package.
