Definitions
Do you refuse to change?
o Pre-Processing, implies the complete and final presentation of the
document is fully processed when the raw data is merged with the
template(s), the merged file is ready to print, email, fax, push to a
portal, or document management or ECM solution.
o Post-Processing, implies that the document is partially processed,
possibly 85 to 95% complete and then passed or picked up by one
or more post processing solutions, electronic and or mechanical to
perform task such as address cleansing, adding promo, or other
messaging to the document to complete it, before passing the
document to the printer, inserter, email or portal.
