from PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT!
Right-of Ways:
NOVEMBER 8TH
1) Study the issues.
2) Know your Candidates’ positions.
3) Talk to family, friends, and neighbors.
4) Vote your conscience.
“The most important election you
will ever vote in.”
Each Township road has a right of way,
which means the Township has a legal
right of passage over someone else’s
parcel and the strip of land over which a
public road has been built.
In trying to avoid any type of conflict,
please remember to cut back or remove
trees, or any type of brush or shrubs that
are on your property which are within the
Township right-of-way.
It is the resident’s responsibility to keep
shrubs and trees overgrowth from creating
a hazardous or dangerous condition. If the
overgrowth interferes with public travel or
impedes maintenance of a public road, our
public works crew may clear and remove
the overgrowth within the Township rightof-way.

North Parkland 2016 Knee Hi Team had a fun,
exciting and positive season; from preseason
practice to their final LVLBL Championship game.
Players improved their baseball skills over the
course of the season and every player contributed
with hustle and hits, getting on base, stealing bases and scoring
runs! We had a strong and diverse pitching staff and good
defense throughout the season. Most of the boys will move on
to 90 foot bases next year; however, some are eligible for 80
foot bases at our Knee Hi level in 2017.
The North Parkland Knee Hi Team had an 11 & 5 regular season
record and finished 4th in the LVLBL standings. N.P. progressed
through the post season playoffs and advanced to the
championship game. The N.P. Team finished 2nd in the LVLBL
Tournament and concluded their season with an overall 15 & 7
record.
Great appreciation to parents, players and coaching staff who
all contributed towards an extremely successful season on and
off the baseball field. North Parkland Knee Hi Team photo was
taken following the 6 - 0 victory over South Parkland that
advanced N.P to the Tournament Championship Game.
